So this is my favorite part of the drive out of everywhere I go around Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba. This is most definitely my favorite part of the drive, and it is going into the Peace River Valley. A very, very white... It feels like the Grand Canyon going into this thing. But it is just absolutely beautiful. So I'm driving the truck, so I gotta go super slow, because, yeah, I don't want my brakes to fail. But does that one suck? But I'll just give you guys a couple of minutes of this video, just so you can have a look. I'm going slow right now. We're starting our descent into the valley, and you can see the trucks laboring to get up. But this is my favorite part of the trip. Most definitely is the Peace River Valley. Just absolutely gorgeous. And apologies for my shakiness with the camera, it's just, I'm trying to drive and give you guys a good view too. So, you know, just go super slow, I'm only going 60, going down the hill. You can see, you can lose control of the trucks real quick. This is just, it's even, like right now, it's spring, and it's kind of gray and, you know, not much, but in the fall, this is absolutely gorgeous. I'll do a video, too, again. in the fall when I come here again, but this is just, see if you guys can see, like, it's just, absolutely gorgeous. And yeah, it's about 10 kilometers, like, 5 kilometers going down, and then you got another 5 kilometers climbing back up, so. Driving down is an adventure. You don't want to go too fast. But, yeah, it's a lot of fun. A lot of fun. Beautiful sites here. And it's supposed to be going slower. And when we get down to the end here, there's a real big suspension bridge that goes over the river itself. skid tire marks here, someone had a problem. This is just absolutely, I love it. I absolutely love this part of the country. Be prepared to stop. You know, if you're stopping, we'll stop. The Mighty Peace. That's what it's called. Looks like we're gonna be stopping down here. Here's the bridge. You guys can see the bridge. And yeah, that's it. Beautiful. thriving metropolis of Grimshaw, Alberta. And why is this an exciting place to be? Because of right there. That is mile zero of the Mackenzie Highway. And there's a little park there. And that means if you kept going on that road, that goes all the way to the Northwest Territories. Yep, that's the Mackenzie Highway, but we're going towards Peace River. So, one day we'll go on the Mackenzie Highway. For now, Peace River. And if you remember from the previous video, we went down into the Peace River Valley, we're going back down into the Peace River Valley, but this is actually the town of Peace River. I know. Shocking, they named a town after the river is on. Anyways, another beautiful, beautiful drive into here, and, you know, it's, it's a really bad time of the year. If you're here in the fall, this is just every color imaginable, just beautiful, and there's a welcome to the town. Peace River, and then this is where you're going in the valley, so. city or town is actually built into the valley. One more valley to go down. This is the Little Smoky River, which is a tributary of the Peace River, and it's the last kind of river I go down, or river, or the last valley I go down on this trip. So, it's nice, it's not as, not as picturesque as the Peace River. Obviously, this is a smaller... smaller valley, but it's still nice. Again, this is why I love coming up northern Alberta. It's just a really, really nice drive. I'll record this, too, when I'm back in the fall, because, you know, you can just picture in the trees, like what it's like. I just drove past a deer. The deer was grazing. It didn't jump in front of me, so that's good. But this is kind of the time of day where they're going to be. are going to be everywhere, so I'm going to be on the lookout. I still got a couple hours left to go, but here we go, a little smoky river. I'll give you guys a look. The river is really high.
