Hey, this is Jonathan with Limitless Mindset, and this is our Q&A podcast that we've done, especially for, well, five of you, Q &A number 26, and I have to add just a little bit of a disclaimer. What you hear on this podcast and find on my website in, and in any one of our other 26 Q&A podcast, is not medical advice. I am not a doctor, I'm just a friendly guy on the internet, a experienced, unlicensed, self-expermenter, self-tinkerer, self-quantifier, lover of obscure knowledge in this domain of biohacking and health stuff, practicing free speech while we have it, in talking about... my own extensive experiences and interpretations of published science. And I'd urge you to check out my guide, which I do link to wherever you are listening to this podcast, well, actually on the show notes page on limitlessmindset.com, I put together a great guide on how to biohack smart and safe. Do check that out. And ideally, you should also consult a doctor about any biohacking your do. and if possible, if you can, get a second, maybe even a third opinion, because a statistically significant number of opinions is really often worth its weight in gold. When you're making that medical advice, oftentimes you'll talk to one doctor, and unfortunately, a lot of times doctors have some bad incentives that can lead them to not giving you the optimal the optimal help with whatever your issue is. So it really is worth taking a little extra time, maybe even spending a little extra money, to get an abundance of information about whatever it is that you are facing. And then I'd also suggest if you find this podcast helpful, but you need a little more, you need a little bit more information. I suggest you check out two consulting offerings that I have. One of these is a life coaching program, and I described it as a lean life coaching program, because the way it works is that we do two telephone calls with each other. If you're a person that really highly values privacy, then this is a pretty good idea because we get on a totally confidential phone call or Skype call, and we will put together an action strategy on what might be optimal daily activities, daily to-dos for you to accomplish some medium-term goal, a 30, 60 or 90-day goal, and then you are accountable to me for following through on these things. And there's all these different... life hacks for discipline. I'm sure that you've seen them, and a lot of them really will help you, but often what outperforms all of these life hacks for discipline and even outperforms discipline promoting smart dress and neutropics is someone else's expectations of you and someone else is a frank, honest feedback on whatever it is that you're trying to overcome. And that's what I offer. So I suggest you check out the Lean Life Coaching and What I also do is I offer a complimentary 30-minute biohacking consultation if you invest a hundred bucks or more in the upgrade of your mental hardware. via some of the vendors of biohacking supplements that are out there. If you're a little bit new to this neutropics and biohacking thing, you might just be a little bit confused. You're seeing that there are hundreds of different neutropic ingredients, and you're seeing that there's many thousands of different... products and you have limited time, you've limited resources, you don't want to waste any of it, and I would be happy to get on a call with you for 30 minutes and just clarify things. And that also serves as kind of a vetting. It serves as an opportunity that I have to... Make sure that you're the kind of person that we might want in our Limitless Mindset Secret Society, which is a private online community. There is... I contend a little bit of value in secrecy. And so that's why I've created a cool online space for people to connect for a little bit more of a just civilized, thoughtful, courteous conversation about everything that we discuss here on Limitless Mindset. I've met a lot of great friends around the world doing these for several years now, and I'd love to connect with you. So I am here today with Mrs. Rose Land, and we're going to be addressing five of your questions. Hi, guys. So we start with Christian from Denver. Let me ask you something, my friend. Is there such a pill like the Limitless Movie? Since you speak so highly about these powerful drugs. Yes, so this is actually my friend Christian that I told you about. Oh, really? The Romanian guy. This was a guy who, he made a real impression, I don't know if he remembers this, but he made a real impression on me one night. We were hanging out in a swanky lounge in downtown Denver, back, back when I used to spend many of my nights hanging out in swanky lounges in downtown Denver. And he's a non-drinker, I believe, so he asked for a bottled water. there in the lounge, and then he made a real, well, he didn't make a scene, but the hostess brought us over a very mediocre bottled water, and he was, he just let her know that he had a little bit higher expectations. Oh, that was the guy with the fancy preferences of water. Yes. I mean, yeah, I understand. He would not stand for the mediocre, the mediocre water. He wanted the, he wanted the top shelf stuff that they keep in. The ladies men. Yes, yeah, and when I saw how he had these, you know, real high standards, I understood why he, he had such a cute girlfriend. Actually, he always had cute girlfriends whenever I saw him. So, yeah, Christian, is there something like the pill in the Limitless movie? Well, That movie, if you go back and watch it, which I do urge people to go back and watch that movie from time to time, because it is a very inspirational movie. That movie was honestly kind of like a superhero movie. It got a little bit silly at times. So I don't think there's anything exactly like that, but there are some smart drugs that are very, very good if you're willing to spend a bit... on them, there was a formulation that I made a couple of years ago that consisted of paracetam, oxiracetam, premaracetam, newpept, and then some special derivatives of tyrazine, and that stuff, tirazine, and magnesium, that stuff was very special. That stuff was... pretty mind-blowing. So you'll want to look into the Rassetams. In my view, everyone has their own experiences. For every person out there, there's probably their own personal NZT-48, and they just have to do a lot of experimentation to find it. In my experience, and in the experience of a lot of people who tried that Rassetam -rich stack, and it was pretty pricey, that... formulation was very close. So I'd kind of direct your attention to researching pharmaceutical-grade, high-quality rassetams, and I will link to some more of those on my website. What's the next question? It is from Nikos on Facebook. I am totally newbie in biohacking. I want to ask you if it is safe to take metropics while fasting. So it depends upon how much of a purist you are with fasting. Fasting is really beneficial to us because it gives our metabolism a break from doing the conversion of calories into energy. And that allows for our bodies to focus on all these other things, like autophagy. It allows our bodies to... to optimize their immune function a whole lot. Fasting does a ton of amazing things for us. And I've heard some experts on fasting say that if you really want to get the maximum bang for your buck out of fasting, you want to do... dry fasting, actually. You want to abstain from even water when you're doing your fasting. And you obviously can't do that as long as you can do a water fast, but that's going to be your optimal situation. However, not a lot of people are going to do that because not a lot of people are, you know, want to just have that, you know, grueling, grueling experience, perhaps like Christ had in those 40 days that he was out there in the wilderness, right? So I would suggest that when you're doing your fasting, you want to stick to the neutropics that are going to be water soluble. And there's a lot of neutropics out there in the... directory on my website where I have detailed articles about all the different neutropics, you can see which ones are water soluble and which are not, and those fat soluble ones, I would not suggest taking during a fast, because, yeah, you're not going to get your maximum bang for your buck out of those, but if you're doing something like intermittent fasting, where you're spending 16 hours a day or so, not eating anything, and you're just... you're just drinking water or coffee or tea in the mornings, you'd probably want to do those water-soluble neutropics in the morning, and then in the afternoon, you'd want to do the other ones. But... Otherwise, there's not a big issue with combining neutropics with fasting. You should probably try it yourself and see what type of results you get out of it, because there is biological diversity in the way that we respond to, in the way that we metabolize vitamins while we're in a fasted state. So just do some experimentation and then stay in touch with us as you're on your biohacking journey. Let us know how things go for you. I would like to add something about the fasting, especially the dry fasting. Maybe we should tell him that if he did dry fasting for like three days, his whole immune system would be renovated. Yeah, that's what Victor Longo, who is the, I think he's the UCLA researcher that's gone really deep on fasting. research found was that when you do a real hardcore fast, when it lasts two to four days, it, yeah, it goes in there and you get autophagy of all of those old cells, all of those old immunoprotecting agents that are in your system, and they get replaced with young interject cells. If you could just imagine, like a... Imagine like a World War I battlefield where there's a bunch of really old veterans of the war, and they are kind of doing a crappy job of fighting the war because they're so old and injured and beat up from the constant struggle. And then, let's say, all of those guys get killed off, and then you have a new generation of crack young troops that come in to fight the war. It's pretty much the same thing. Really, we should try this sometime. Yeah, maybe over... Christmas, New Year's around that time of the year? Mm-hmm, it's not that far away. Okay. Marty on Facebook. I have been following you for quite some time now, and was wondering if you could let me know your thoughts on this new Australian company and their ingredients that are providing a pre-made stack. Do you think that this stack could be effective? We're talking about... obviously, Kognetics. Yes, and I'm wondering if this is the same Matty that I met once upon a time in South America who would never wear a shirt. There was an Australian guy named Matty that would just never wear a shirt. Is that you? Are you reaching back out to me across time and space? Anyways, I did check out Kognetics, and it looked... to me, like a pretty decent stack. It contained Lions Main, which is what I regard as the best neotropic. mushroom, has some tirzine, some alk-car in it, it's got some bacopa, some thianine, so it doesn't look that bad, but boy, I'm going to be just a little bit of a quintessential American here and say, geez, your stacks there in South America. They're just, they're not in South America, in Australia, they're just not quite as good as what I've come to expect from American stacks, because I'm not seeing... I'm not seeing any patented ingredients on this product, and typically when I'm looking at stacks, I prefer things that contain patented ingredients, because then you know that you're really getting the real thing. I like that this stack doesn't have caffeine. I'm a little bit suspicious of neutropic stacks that have a whopping dose of caffeine in it. And finally, I will mention that when I received your email, I did reach out to... Cognetics, and I did ask them for a little bit more information about their product. I believe I asked them to send over COAs. I like to see COAs for a product when I, before I take it, to make sure that they're using the real ingredients, to make sure that they're using high purity of ingredients, and there was a Laura. There was a Laura there at Cognetics that did respond to me, but they never got me the COAs, proving purity. I would ask to see those before I spent my money on anything. So maybe worth a try, but I'm not sure. Next question. Sean on Facebook again. Hey, what supplements would you recommend for? Peace of mind, happiness, distress, and strength. I currently take Ashwaganda and couldn't live without it. I feel I'm a better me, on it overall. Yes, Ashwaganda can really be a game-changer, that effect that it has on the autonomic nervous system, can just deliver a bit of well-needed tranquility into our life. So, since you like the adaptogens... I'd suggest adding rhodiola. Make sure you get the rhodiola from a really high quality supply, like... I think Lost Empire herbs, I link to a couple of other suppliers on my website that sell really good rodeola. And rodeola is demonstrated in clinical trials to have a really potent antidepressant effect. So I would say it's probably one of the best herbal things that you can take to just keep your mood. to not make you happy all the time. I don't think that being happy all the time is a worthy goal, but to keep your mood swings from swinging a little bit out of control. I'd suggest that if you're looking for something on the total other end of the spectrum, you might want to try something like TNeptine. TNeptine is this relatively benign opioid. So it can be addictive. You want to keep the dose really low on it and be very careful of how often you're using it, but I found that that was definitely chemical happiness. I think I made a video blog about TNeptine, and that TNeptine was something that gave me the happiness that I didn't deserve. So you might want to check that one out. As far as strength. So are you talking about, like, workout supplements? In that case, I would suggest, right now I am using HMB. for my workouts. I'm using about 1,000 milligrams of HMB, and it definitely increases my power output without being a real stimulant. If you're looking for something that's going to be really stimulating and increased strength, you should maybe think about Yohimind, but you'll want to read my article on that, because Yohemind definitely has some downsides to it. And then I'll also add the classic... and very loved, very proven strength, neutropic mitochondrial performance output enhancer, which is creatine. Creatine taken before a workout will definitely up the strength that you can bring. So try those, let us know what you think. Tell him about the risk that he might start losing his hair. Yes, my wife is very concerned with the the potential risk that you have with creatine, which is that it might thin out your hair. Apparently, there was a study where they use creatine with some, I think, Spanish soccer players, and they found that it thinned their hair a bit, but there was, I think, just a single study. that was showing that risk, so I'm not overly concerned about it. And actually, Oshwaganda is one of the best neutropics that you can take for your hair, believe it or not, because apparently your stress response has something to do with how lustrous and fabulous your hair is. So that's where they actually recommend Oshwaganda to men that are worried about... that are worried about balding, so I don't think you have a lot to worry about in the hair department, honestly. Ryan Walshane on Instagram. As magnesium is critical to the integrity of the blood-brain barrier, have you noticed the supplementation of magnesium L-thrionate has led to the need of higher doses metropics, say paracetam, to achieve the same effect prior to when you began supplementation? I have not noticed that, and I wouldn't worry about it either. The... studies and research showing how it is helping the blood-brain barrier do its job, those are, I believe, demonstrating that when people had a blood-brain barrier that was kind of in bad shape, that magnesium was bringing them back to the baseline functioning. I don't think that magnesium is going to decrease the bioavailability of other supplements. And I certainly didn't experience that myself. I've been using magnesium for some time. I used magnesium L3 and 8 for about a month. I... would have noticed if it had that sort of effect. And I also searched around on the internet a bit, looking for other anecdotal accounts that might corroborate that, that might say, you know, hey, I needed to do a lot more paracetam when I was on magnesium, and I didn't find anyone saying any such thing. I would think that to the contrary, because magnesium is involved with like 400 different operations in the body, it's really an essential chemical cog in so many different things that our neurobiology does, I would say that magnesium will probably, if anything, make the other neutropics that you're taking more. effective. So, hopefully you'll try the magnesium. Try a couple of different kinds of it. I know that I've had different effects from trying different types of magnesium. So let us know what your experience is like. Again, I'm Jonathan. And I'm his wife.
