Hey guys, and so my grandma let me borrow her phone so we can read, Eudor. Let's skip his surname, because I find it hard to always pronounce it, and I'm so conscious that I might say it wrong, okay? Let's stick with Heodore. Let's continue reading it, and, you know, let's have fun with our existential crisis thoughts. Okay, to live longer than 40 years is bad manners, it's vulgar, immoral. Oh, let me insert this. The only thing that makes me pronounce some words in great difficulty, it's because I have mouth sore right now. It's so hot in Philippines. So, yeah, bear with me. But I think it's still understandable how I say it. I'm trying my best, okay? Cut me some slack. Thanks. Let's continue. Who does live beyond 40? Answer that. Insurely and honestly. I will tell you who do. Fools. Fools and worthless fellows. I tell all old men that to their face, all this venerable old man, all the silver-haired and reverend seniors. I tell the whole world that to its face, I have a right to say so, for I shall go on living to 60 myself, to 70, to 70, to 80. Let me take breath. You imagine no doubt, gentlemen, that I want to amuse you. You are mistaken in that too. I am by no means such a mirthful person as you imagine, or as you may imagine. Mirthful means a happy person. Actually, I really resonate with this one, because I'm not a happy person myself. It's so easy for me to be grumpy so early in the morning than to say good morning to my grandma or to my cousin or to my aunt. For real. I'm quite living a privileged life right now, but I can still be ungrateful, actually. I'm taking allowance for my aunt for being here, and I do chores, but mostly... I just accompany my cousin or pick her up from school and she's seven years old. She can take shower by herself. But I can still be so ungrateful. I can still be so grumpy. And to think with the hug and the tree hanging on edge, actually. and the Philippines right now, they're struggling so much with the ASF, with this greedy middleman, you know, those buyers of hugs, and all those dead pigs and my community back home, and my pets are still alive and well, and they're about to give birth this month, and I'm still ungrateful. can't force me to be happy all the time. I am logical person, I know that I'm supposed to be happy. But what can I do about my feelings, right? So, it's okay. I can still shit with this, and I can still think logically. That's why we're reading this book, okay? Bear with me. However, irritated by all this barrel, and I feel that you are irritated. you think fit to ask me who I am, then my answer is I am a college hate accessor. I was in the service that I might have something to eat, and solely for that reason. Yeah. I think at this point of my life, I think, what makes me do stuff is so that I can have something to eat. and if I have something to eat, then I can still live. Because a person who shan's food will, you know, eventually die sooner or later, yeah. And when last year, a distant relation left me 6,000 roubles. What is rubles? R-O-U-B-L-E-S. Actually, I'm not familiar with this. 6,000 roubles in his wheel. and I immediately retired from the service and settled down in the corner. I used to live in this corner before, but now I have settled down in it. My room is a west red-thread, horrid one in the outskirts of the town. My servant is an old countrywoman ill-natured from stupidity, and moreover, there is always a nasty smell about her. I am told that the Petersburg climate is bad for me, and that with my small means, it is very expensive to live in Peterburg. Is that how I should pronounce it? Peter'sburg. Okay, just correct me in the comments section if you want. It's a great engagement for me. I know all that better than all this sage and experience, counselors, and monitors, but I am remaining in Petersburg. I am not going away from Petersburg. Why, do you work, it's saying the name of the place that I find it hard to pronounce. Why am I fighting with the writer? Anyway. I am not going away because X, E -C-H-X, how do you say it? Why, it is absolutely no matter whether I am going away or not going away, but what can a decent man speak of with most pleasure? Answer of himself. So, I will talk about myself. Actually, I'm that kind of person that I always... talk about myself because if I will talk about someone else, I may get it wrong. And if I say things about myself, it is my very own opinion. It can be right or it can be wrong. Who cares? It's my story. If you want to say your side, then you tell it. Actually, let's continue to chapter 2. It's already in chapter 2. I want now to tell you gentlemen whether you care to hear it or not, why I could not even become an insect. Why now an insect? Actually, I want to be a mosquito because I want to be so annoying. I find mosquitoes so annoying. I feel like crying every time a mosquito. He near me busing in my ears or just, you know, just flying around my legs or what. I should really find it annoying. That's why I always have a mosquito swatter, electric mosquito swatter with me, because I don't need to repel them. I need to kill them. Anyway, let's continue. I tell you solemnly that I have many times tried to become an insect, but I was not equal even to that. I swear, gentlemen, that to be too conscious is an illness, a real sorrow-going illness. For much everyday meals, it would have been quiet enough to have the ordinary human consciousness. That is, half or a quarter of the amount which falls to the lot of a cultivated man of our and happy 19th century, especially one who has the fatal ill luck to inhabit Petersburg's the most theoretical and intentional town on the whole terrestrial globe. There are intentional and unintentionals towns. Okay. I'm lost. Let's end it here now. I think I exerted so much effort already. And hopefully I will be able to upload this so great. That's it. Bye, see you in my next video. And if you want a shout-out, comment down below. Yeah, I'm doing the shout-out now.
