@wwwiebe: I plan to reach 52 weeks in a row, a full year, before putting the guitar down and merely sharing 3 videos like an ordinary human being! Hahaha! But your covers are great! Those two versions of The Moonshiner really are worlds apart, aren't they? It's super impressive how the same words can be interpreted in so many different ways. Your version of Master of War is pretty striking, too. It's pretty straightforward and a slap in the face, which I rather like.
@ablaze: 51 weeks brother!!! You are unreal for keeping it going for as long as you did. It takes a certain type of grit and determination to set your mind to something like posting three songs every week for a year and actually following through and doing it, and that is while being Dad, a husband and professional good on ya man. I never actually heard Bob's version of Moonshiner and I must say it's a great song and you did it great justice man. Masters of war is another great choice and I love both Eddie and Bob's version and your one compares nicely and suits your voice and vocal range, nice one. A great mix of tunes this week finishing with a the classic Knocking on Heavens Door, which also had another interpretation with Guns n Roses giving it a go on Use Your Illusion II. I must say I have always really liked the Guns n Roses version, but not sure if it's better than Bob's to be fair. Tough call.
