Hello, Hi, community members. With this post, we are going to talk about how to curate with high suite application. So first of all, you need to have a curator role. And if you don't have one, you can always contact me by launching high suite application. And in that, you can click on technical support on Discord. And in that, you just have to, on the Discord server, you have to find the appropriate channel where you can request for the curator role. So how do you know whether you are curator or not? So for that, you just have to go to curation, and in here you will see the list of curators. So if you are already a curator, you can start curating. But before you start curating, make sure that you log out and log in, because this changes were recently introduced. So if you log out and log in again, with the fresh session, you will get necessary permissions. Alright, so I'm going to snaps for right now, and in that we see a lot of content. And when I say a lot of, it means, yes, we see so many content over here. And yeah, so on that note, I also want to say that we also have introduced custom snaps, about which we will discuss in daily updates, but for now, let's just focus on curation. As a curator, you can curate a comment, a snap, and a post. just go through the content which is published by High Suite application and you can curate it. For example, I'm switching to High Switch here for now and with that you'll be able to see all the content which is published by High Suite application. So in this case, I see content published by NoWF, then I see content published by Monifab and so and so forth. I also see content published by ButG. Let's say I want to uphold a content, this is really good, but this was 25 days ago, so there is no point in curating this. This is 13 hours ago, how about this one? So if I hit the upload button, and in that, as a user, you specify the curation weight that you want to set. Let's say I just want to set 2 % or maybe 1% only, or if you want to set even lesser than that, you can always go to, for example, settings, and then in here you can change the slider step. So I'm tapping on 0.25 as my minimum vote weight. Now I'm going back to snaps and I was looking at this snap. So I'm clicking on a port button. So now you can see I can go as little as 0.25%. And then tapping on request of curation, you can see we have slider value, which can go as high as 6%. So meaning that for the snaps, it is as high as 6%. For the posts, it is as high as 15%. and for the comments which you see under the snaps or any blog or a blog, you can set it as high as 3%. So, as a curator you have freedom, you can report any content. To start with, let's say, afford the content which is published by HighSuite application. And of course, I'm giving you the power, meaning that the users of HighSuite now can curate the content of HighSuite users. So I'm giving you the... authority to afford the content with my high voting power, but it basically kind of a responsibility with more power comes greater responsibility. So as an admin, I'll be not just admin, anyone can always, you know, go to curation and then take a look at the recent request and then they can review the content which was published and afforded by curator. So let's say, for example, in this case, but G. curated the content over here and he requested for 5% to 8 and it was approved. Similarly, Butji requested for 6% and it was approved. So here you'll be able to see the curation request. Everything is transparent and in case if you see any abuse, please, please open Discord and then report it to us so that we can take immediate action. Alright, so let's go back to the curation, I'm switching to the curation right now, setting 0.25% or whatever vote that you want to give it to the author. So in this case, let's say I want to set 5% or 6%, and then setting the request curation, and in that I'm also setting 6% and then hitting the upvote button. And with that, I am requesting for the curation and it was, like, submission was successful. Let's see, if I switch back to curation and in that, if I take a look at recent request, you can see it was voted. So here you'll be able to see immediate effect most of the time, but sometimes it may not, and if you don't see that you have to understand that it may be either rejected or it may be due to the low voting power from the account that I have supplied for the curation. So now if I go back here, click on snaps and then hit the refresh button. In here, give me a second, if I click on this, you will see the app vote which is given by me, which is the curation. So it doesn't add any spam at all, you don't see any additional message. Going on Hive, blockchain, stating that your content, you're curated, you give me this much delegation, that my delegation, no marketing, no spamming, nothing, straightforward curation, support the way. it should work. So with this, we are implementing curation and not just that, you will also see Curation Leader Board over here as a curator, right? So let's say if I take a look at last seven months in that, you can see, sorry, not last seven months, this month, or last seven days or things like that, you will see over here. So in the lifetime, you can see that. TechCoda Labs submitted to and approved two compared to that, Budji is like number one. So this is the leaderboard that we have designed and maybe in your future, if we get enough support, we will reward the curators as well by giving them high power, by sending them high power. I also like the different limits (6% for Snaps, 15% for posts, 3% for comments), which protect against abuse.
