Playing Chess on HiveSuite and Sharing the Results on Snapie

Okay, guys, I'm on a site called Hive Suite, and it's built on the Hive blockchain, and it's got a lot of nice features, including a whole bunch of games that you can play, and then you can post your results, as I've done here with this chess game, on another Hive blockchain-based site called Snappy, and Snappy is where you can earn Hive, as you see I've done here, you're going to earn Hive tokens simply for posting your content, and when somebody upvotes the content, like this one here, 17 cents worth of Hive, 50% goes to the content creator, and 50% goes to the people who upvoted the content. So you can play games on Hive Suite, and with a simple click, a couple of clicks, you can automatically post the end of the game, the game result, onto this snappy platform here. And so that's what I've been doing. And just recently, because this is a pretty new site, just recently, there was no chess game, and I requested a chess game, and to my surprise, within days, I mean, just a couple of days or so, a chess game suddenly appeared. and I also requested some variation in the options for the colour scheme of the game, and that also came in very quickly. So now you can see we have this fairly easy to view chess game. and we can play with bots at various levels. And here is the game, and I'm going to show you how intelligent or unintelligent these bots are. They're actually crazy bots. It's not a game for you to try and improve your chess, it's a game to have some fun and then post your results on Snappy. But what I want to show you is the comments that came in... the last time I played the game, which I think was yesterday. And because the bots are called like Masterbot and all that, it sounds, it looks impressive when I've beaten, I've beaten the bot. So, yeah, my man, Kura Max here says beating the master bot is impressive. And I upvoted this, I upvoted his comment for a three cent, three and half cents. and a fun traveller. Now, this is the thing, a lot of people don't have any confidence with chess. Chess, it's really a demanding game. And so, congrats to you, I'm not really good at playing chess, so I'm really impressed by your dedication to win this game. And so the thing I want to... impress on you is that actually these bots are just fun. It's a fun way to play chess. They're stupid bots. It's not as impressive as it seems, I said. The bots are not very intelligent, even at the highest level. So what I want to do in this video is show you what I mean, and I'm going to play, I'll start with the lowest level bot. Where are we play with bot? So we play with the novice bot, and we'll do it randomly. I don't mind whether I'm black or white. And as it's the novice bot, I'll play just a three-minute game with this nice green layout. So here we go. Okay, so bot makes his crazy opening move, and off we go. Click here. Bun a pawn in the centre. Bun, another pawn in the centre. So I think what's going on. Okay, so I can't move this. I mean, perhaps the bot is playing with a little bit of brain power, who knows. But let's do a black version of the queen's porn opening. He's just given away his queen. He's taken a pawn. This is how crazy these bots are. So what do you think, folks? He's just given up his queen. Do you think this will be such an impressive win? Okay, this is the lowest level. You should expect to beat a bot at the lowest level. What's going on? Even when you're commenting. The thing about commentating on games is actually really difficult. I'm really impressed by the guys like Ginger GM who commentate on their own games while playing the games. And it often causes them to screw up, actually, which is quite funny. But what should we do? Should we bunk him in there? I see, what did you move? Ah, the pawn, okay, so let's just swap off that knight there for the rook. See, he didn't even take, he didn't even exchange. The rook should do it. Okay, okay, you're not going to do that, well, well, grab that one. I know, I know my bishop is on pre, but you see, he's completely ignored, both those moves, so we'll now take the rook. And he's ignored that move as well. In fact, my bishop stays safe. So this is how crazy the bots are at the lowest level. Zero brainpower box. I think they've only learned how the moves were nothing else. Have we got a checkmate here yet? Not quite yet. But we put the old queen in there. And he goes back there. And what do we got? We got. There we go. That's how easy it is. I won't share this one on Hive, because what I'll do is go up next to a higher level if I get that option I do. So now we go up to casual. We keep it three minutes on random. And this time I'm white. Cheers, folks. Yeah, that's another thing I'm playing, playing while having a refreshing beer or two. Beer chess, God, I love it. Just like the old four knights. Let's just advance the porn again. See if he moves his night. He does, okay. He moves his night. What am I doing? Let's move out the old, move out the old, uh, beef, see if he protects his night, okay, moves his night away. Takes my pawn, that's me not paying attention, so that's my blunder. But now he's blunted his bit... You can blunder, you can blunder in this game, and don't worry about it. I've now taken two of his knights. Okay, he's attacking my queen. What should we do with the queen? Where should you put the queen? Should we see if he wants to swap off queens? Yes, he does, okay. Where'd your step? back this way is it going to keep going? Okay, check. Okay, that's not too bad a move. Right, time to develop. This bot is a little more intelligent. I spoke too soon. Oh, now that's a... Okay, it's not too bad, because I can just take the pawn. I thought I may have blundered myself into forking my pawn and my, my, my, my bishop and my knight. Where are we? This castle, shall we? Got one minute, 30 or seconds. So I have lost against these box, I've lost on time. Okay, we've got a nice discovered check here. I can't afford, he takes it, okay, we'll grab that bishop, double up the rooks, where's he gone down there, okay, meanwhile, we go check, okay, again, there we go check, make, okay, we don't need to share that one, so we just play again at the higher level, oh wait a minute, Let's go back to set up intermediate. Let's start again. Okay, start again, intermediate. Good, good, okay. So, how's the intermediate one going to do? Try a different opening, shall we? A bit more of a French style. Take that. Night will take, bring out the night. Make him, he's not moved his bishop away. And he moved his king for some reason. Let's get the queen up, shall we? Okay. Bishop takes bishop. It's a free bishop, all right? I'm going for that, thank you very much. The game to it. Uh, castle. Queen takes queen, free queen. I thought this was the more intelligent bot. So, guys, this is check me. There we go. So it's not really so impressive, is it? We're playing again, but let's go to advance. We've got two more levels. Advance, and then we got the Grandmaster. Okay, off we go. I thought it's Knight might have... blundered, blundered taken, blunder taken, my pawn. Can you say blunder taken? No, no, he's just not, he's just blunder not moved. Okay, let's swap off queens, get rid of the queen, King Moves, pin the knight. Why does he love moving as king so much? I don't know. Come on, move. Yeah, perhaps I should have swapped off the, swapped off the night, but anyway, he's eyeing, maybe, if there's any intelligence here, he's eyeing that, that weak pawn, I suppose. Hmm. What are we up to? Let's castle. Okay, finally he's taken. Let's go. Is this the bot's best game, do you think? Is this the bot's best game? Could be. Is that, is it just giving me a pawn? I think he's just given me a pawn. Okay, let's take the look. Come on, King, keep going. Yeah. Let the bishop is ground, mind you. Okay, I'll swap off bishops. Is that a king took something? Did I just blunder? No, the king just moved. The king just moved. It sounds a bit more difficult. I've got 1.1 minute and 23 seconds on the clock at some stages, king will blunder. Oh. Did I say it was difficult? Okay, we're going for the Grandmaster. A Grandmaster. Three minutes, random, go, go, go, go. Grandmaster. If I beat the bot, I'm a Grandmaster. At least on Hive Suite. A Hive Suite Grandmaster. I will post the result of this one on Snappy, so you can see the process. If you use Twitter X and you're tired of not getting paid, well, you can keep on using Twitter if you like it, but why not have some fun on the Hive blockchain and actually get paid for your activity? I mean, look at this. This is the Grand Master trying to impress us. Grab the bish, that's a free bishop. And we may as well grab the pawn. We may as well grab the queen. Grandmaster, eh? Is he going to take the knight? He's castling away. Okay. Okay, so now we're just disrupt the pawn structure in front of the king, if he even takes it. He is a grandmaster, so he has taken it. Okay. Oh, what have I done? I've just blundered my queen. See, now... I still think I'm going to win. This is probably not the best way to improve your chess. I just blundered by Queen. What can you do? What's happened? Oh, now he thinks he's attacking and getting the better of us. I just move our king sideways. Okay, here we go. Here we go. That's okay, well. Reveal. Okay, you're playing a bit better. Famous last words. I think I should say that. When I'm getting into a bit trouble, I should say the bot is playing better. And then the bot will mess up. He grabs the pawn, hey, you can have the pawn because I want to get my old rook over here. Alright, okay, I'll take the rook. Here we go, bye-bye. Osh. This one, I will now share on Hive, on Snappy.
