Okay, cheers guys, this is a bit mad, but I'm going to see if I can get through a game of Ludo in fairly short order, in the hope of showing you how I play. Now, Ludo is mainly a game of chance, of course, but once you get more than one of these counters out, there is a bit of play. There are some tactics that can come in. because I do win a fair few of the games I play. Okay, few luck there, the dice on that. Now we've got two out. That gives us a bit more choice. Get a third out or run away from the green. We'll get a third one out. It's not very good, is it? Not very good. We've got two here. These are the safe squares. There are... Okay, that's not good. Okay, home we go. But these got two out. Okay, three out. If we can get these placed well across the board, it might give us some good odds on winning this game. Okay, got four out. Get this one onto that nice safe square there. Then we can start to move the others. up. The bots tend to favour the forward most counter, except in cases when they can take other people's counters. But I think it's better to get some variation to increase your options as much as possible in an admittedly limited game. So there's nothing, nothing too close to the vicinity of red yet. I'll keep moving this one for now. Let's get him ahead. Let's land on this square here. Or perhaps even grab that green one. So we can move this one forward to this forward safe square, edging him forward. Or we could take a chance to move this counter just behind, but I tell you what, we'll move that one forward for now. This little square here, it sucks in behind. So if green were to catch up, this one is safe from green here. It's all probabilities and odds. Okay, neither of these can grab that one. There's another nice thing. When you're clustered in this way, it increases your odds of capturing another tile. But let's get this one moving. Okay, we'll move that one onto the safe square. So I see three of my counters right now are protected by. Very nice, thank you, yellow. Okay, now all of my counters are on safe square. That's what we like. Green has moved ahead here, so green is quite vulnerable. Okay, here we go. And also it gives me another dice roll, so see if I can pull away from there. This one's going to look, if green lands here, here or here, we might be able to knobble him just before he gets to safety. Look at these two here, but I only rolled a two, so keep moving this forward. There are our odds. What are our options, rather? I could move this one forward as well to try and clobber the green if he gets a low score. In the other hand, it's quite nice to get, as yellow's coming up, it's nice to move this one over here. But placing this one here, when there's nothing too much behind us, also looks quite juicy. Now, he just made it home. And yellow made it onto a safe square, so I think it might be time to move forward this one. There we go. Get some of that nice safe square over there. There's nothing we can clobber. Okay, so let's have a look at these ones back here. We're not going to move that one. Just move him up. Okay, yellow is looking a little bit vulnerable. It'd be nice to clobber yellow. Not like that though, before yellow gets home. Okay, six, five. Should we chase yellow down? Or should we play more? Let's chase yellow down, see if we can. I hope green doesn't get a six. Yellow's on that safe tile now. Okay. Move forward to that safe tile. Green still doesn't get a sixth. Yellow's not yet safe. We can't quite yet safe. We can't quite do it. But anyway. Let's move down. Yellow is dry. 6. Should we try to move this on as forward as possible, that will leave three of our tiles outside of safe squares, but let's see if we can do it. Not too bad, not too bad. Okay, that one may have to be sacrificed. Let's get this one onto that nice safe square there. There we go, goodbye. Should we move forward? And I wait for a better roll. It would be nice to bring him home, but let's get that one out. And move forward. Goodbye. Okay, that's better. This keeps us safe and green coming round. Okay, we're going to run for it with green there, or are you going to get one of these moving forward? Let's get one of these moving forward. Give us as many options as possible. That's not good. Let's chase green and hope that yellow doesn't catch up. Okay, come on. Six, and then hope for a large dice roll, a bit of luck. Are we going to go for a bit of luck, because this is dangerous here, so let's go for it. Come on, yes, just on. One. I've been in exactly that situation myself. That is the nature of Ludo. If don't roll a six, you can't do very much. There we go. Congratulations, Blue. 6 will get one home and another dice roll, but I'd rather get some space between me and some of these others. There we don't want to save. Nice. Okay, should we make a run for it? very nice one two three four five get that one onto a say square Okay, see if we can make a run for her. Okay, okay, let's go. Let's just go. Oh, nice. Okay, priorities, get this one in. Okay, we're not too badly positioned. If we get four, we'll plog of that one. Two is not great, is it? So, we'll bide our time. Oh, very nice. That's nasty for yellow, but not too bad for red. We're not going to put ourselves there. If we come up here and hope that this one passes by, it may still give some options. Okay, let's do that. Okay, that's quite nice. It's a bit more challenging. We've got another dice roll on six. Putting him there's a bit risky. Let's go for this one. Okay, safe square here. For blue, okay, gets on a safe square, thank you very much. So probably this. gets him out of the way of that blue one. Oh, okay, one two. Oh, one would be okay. Now then, what do we want? Two clobbers that one and gives us an extra roll. The two also gets us home, but it's a vicious game. Let's do that. and then try to run away. Okay, straight back out, and now let's see if we can attack with this one. I'd like to get some revenge, but keep moving with this one. Rob. Okay, let's go. Oh, sh. Okay, I guess that's what we should do. Mm-hmm. And off we go. 3 gets him home and then we have absolutely no choice let's therefore keep a little bit of choice Okay, okay, okay. Here we go. Come on. Okay, come on, we got to get out of there. Get us out of there. One? Three will do, okay. Ooh, nice, green is the biggest risk. That puts us in the leave. Now let's go. Yes, come on. Are we going to get another throw? Come on. Just need ones now. Let's get them before green gets anything out. Josh, there's one. Come on, one more one. That's the way to do it, my Chevy boys.
