@meno: I don't disagree per se.. BUT, there are artists out there who kept on doing art just because it kept them sane. I'm a musician too, I don't know if people know that about me anymore. Released albums and everything when I was younger. So yeah, its about getting validated by your peers, appreciated, leaving a footprint in the sand, so to speak. But also, I wrote all those songs because I was broken, and I was trying to find myself in between chords and rhymes.
