@avdesing: When I began looking at the exhibition and the images it presented, I had the same thought: there’s a lack of context; they’re all against white backgrounds. In several of his photographs, I seem to see models striking poses, as if he wanted ordinary people, not models, with their jobs and their lives to pose in order to show precisely that. If I analyse it a little further, I realise that for the artist, the background and context aren’t important, perhaps because the focus of the photograph is on the people themselves, as if, through those gazes and poses, one could enter each of their souls and look into them. They are people who are suffering, weary, with faces full of sorrow; they all look more or less the same, one even has her arms crossed as if to bar the way, creating a sense of distance. Ultimately, it provokes a sense of rejection at first, but if we look at where the intention lies, we can discover so much more. Thank you very much for bringing this exhibition to us; it really makes one think. Un gran abrazo!🤗 I have picked this post on behalf of the @OurPick project! Check out our Reading Suggestions posts! Please consider voting for our Liotes HIVE Witness. Thank you!

@nanixxx: Hello... I haven’t read the text, but all those people have their own very particular way of looking at us. That’s what I feel at first glance as I scroll through here. Sorry, I’m only just about to read it now... or perhaps later.

@felixmarranz: I’m not sure whether the photographer is mocking his subjects or if he intends to mock the viewer. Setting aside technical and aesthetic considerations, most of the people struck me as unpleasant or surly. Perhaps that is what he aimed to capture. On the other hand, your work documenting the exhibition strikes me as very thorough and well researched.

. 📷 ⚡☕. Truly an impressive concept: the artist takes people whom no one would ever stop to photograph and transforms them into models—despite their seemingly stern or grim expressions—capturing them in a way that is entirely natural. An ordinary passerby might glance at them and keep walking, but not this artist; he sees something more to share with the world—something both ordinary and, at the same time, unique. Your contribution is very thorough, offering various insights into the lives of these individuals and what the artist sought to convey. "...Those faces, those gazes, become symbols waiting to be deciphered." "...The life that carved those expressions." Life itself—the harshness of the everyday. I absolutely loved it; some of these images are particularly striking, and one truly longs to decipher what these people were thinking at that very moment. A round of applause—and a warm embrace—for your contribution; it is clean, impeccable, and serves as a great reminder that there is always more to learn. Hug !PAKX !ALIVE !BBH !PIZZA !LADY !LUV

@ph1102: Well, that was weird... 😃 After your first sentences, I had to agree with your objection... Also, I tried to find some of the portraits that would bring a "positive" emotion in me, but I failed to do so... As a matter of fact, it got even worse toward the end... lol... But I suppose the author accomplished what he wanted... He got an "emotion" from viewers, and that is the purpose of art... "Mocking them"... okay... Are they really "moving the world"? Probably, by doing some ordinary jobs... or something that others don't want to do... But still, they look terrifying... probably because they look like they have a lack of emotions or feelings... and that's probably the worst possible thing that an empath can see... 😃 Thanks for sharing... I will have bad dreams tonight because of this... 😂 (just kidding)

@miprimerconcurso: Hello, Mr. @enraizar, good day. To be honest, I didn’t quite grasp what the artist is trying to express with this photography exhibition. Some of the shots I found quite unpleasant. I appreciate you sharing this photography exhibition.
