Those chickens are going crazy, but they're laying eggs probably. Anyway, so I got this AEC, right? Because I'm trying to say money and keep this room very cool because this is where I sleep, and my central AEC is not as effective. And so I planted this banana tree, but it's taken a long time to grow. And this vine right here, it was taken over all these power lines, you can say. my transformer and I was afraid was going to go in the window. So now I just keep checking it every now and then so that the vines don't climb again. I had a rough time fixing them. But what I did is basically it's morning glory and it's very beautiful in the morning. And so right now it looks ugly because I just unwinding all those wires from the, all those vines from the wires basically. And so what I did early in the morning is that I thought maybe I'll build a trellis, you know? And here I am. I basically put these two bamboo steaks using, just a chair and those things to mash them down, and then I use this twine right here. This is like a bamboo twine, and it's good for one year, one season, so, you know, during the winter I can just bring everything down and go burn it at the barn pile. This banana tree is doing great. It's almost at the point where it's going to start providing some privacy for my bathroom. It's very, very private, and I only have one neighbor up here. But still, it's just nice to have extra privacy, extra shade, right? So, yeah, that's what I'm doing today, I'm building a trellis, and I did not have enough of those green stakes. They're very expensive, like $20 here, maybe $15, I don't remember. The bamboos I got them for free, I had to bind the twine, obviously. And so, you know, instead of just killing these... Morning Glory, which I really appreciate because, you know, whenever I have time at the house, I'm just walking around the house, right? And I figure, you know what, these are beautiful, and I'm going to have to cut them down, because that's the easiest thing to do, right, or just spray them, you know? I sprayed through here, so I don't have to weed it. And the other day, I think I even spray them once, and they keep coming back, so I'm like, you know what, I'm trying to keep this room cool with this extra AC. You know, it'll help me save some money too. And then, you know, why don't I just use nature to keep it cool, you know? And so I planted the banana trees, right? But they are taking a long time to establish. That one looks pretty good, even has some babies, how do you say, some pups now. But this vine is so persistent. It's so consistent with his growth, too. Like, it grows so much every day to the point where I just let it go for a couple. maybe two weeks and it was taken over the transformer. So, you know what? I say, fucky, let me build a trellis today. I have time, and I'm like, you know, I have so much work, I have to cut the grass, I have to plant microgreens, I have to go to the garden, I have to do so much stuff. I was planning on going to the gym, too, but I'm sweating my ass off. But I say, you know what, let me do the side quest. ADHD, I don't know what you call that, but anyways, I went on the sidewalks, I decided to build the trellies, and now here I am, it's complete now, you know, I wasn't going to bar you guys with all the process. I didn't even take videos, because I was trying to get it done as quick as possible. But yeah, there it is, you know, we'll see how it works out. The last string is up here, which means going to be that tall. Let me give you some perspective right there. It's basically going to shade out the AC. That's my main goal and a little bit of the window. It's going to shade out these panels right here. And obviously, it's going to shade out part of the wall right there. So from that point, the white part of the post, you know, is going to shade out that space, right? It's going to help a lot with the AC, the window. It's going to be great. I feel like it's going to be good. Is my girlfriend going to like it? I don't know, probably not, but, you know, whatever. Hopefully I won't have to take it down. Maybe it will look ugly, who knows, because, you know, we don't have morning glories in the afternoon, only in the morning. That's one problem. But what I can see is that these leaves are very beautiful, and, I mean, they're as big as my hand, and my hands are decently big. So hopefully it's going to look beautiful. If now I'm going to have to take it down. We have a big party. next Saturday, I think, and there's going to be a lot of people here, but it is going to be a night, so who cares, you know? So, yeah, we'll see what happens. I'll probably do updates every now and then if you guys want, you know, but the main things that I'm trying to lower my electric bill in the summer, because I want to keep the house as cool as possible, and the AIS is like the one of the most expensive things that I have running in the house, right? And so, you know, I'm building... that I'm doing the fig tree with a central AC, that's where my central AC is, it's all shaded out right now, and I'm harvesting figs, you know, soon I'll have banana leaves for tamales, along with shade, you know, I've got the solar panels in the roof, you know, I'm doing all these things because why not, right? If I have time to do it, and I got the space to do it, why not, you know? It's fun, and it's entertaining for me, and I can do them. It's going to help me out, too, with the money. which is not a lot of savings, but hey, man, it's something, right? It's something that I can do, why not do it, right? So, yeah, that's it, guys. I got to go work now. I got to do so much stuff here. I'm going to start with, I got to comment, I got to do so much work. So I'll see you guys next time. Peace out.

@meno: i was under the impression those little ac units were very inefficient... i guess if you just cool one room. I wonder tho, if it would be better to invest in better isolation. replied to 5:12 on 3speak.tv
