@meno: The way it actually works bro, is that the payouts are divided between curators and content creators. On Hive, each post earns rewards based on upvotes, which create a reward pool value. That payout is split roughly 50% to the author and 50% to curators (the accounts that upvoted), with early, meaningful votes earning the most curator rewards. It works out best, because it gives people with a lot of hive in their wallets, motivation to upvote... the more hive you accumulate, the bigger your upvote too. Its the win/win
