--- Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. --- We had previously learned that Clan Sakai had a long-standing conflict with the Yarikawa, though we did not know the primary cause of that feud. ...

But my uncle disbanded their clan when he defeated them. The family still runs things here. Unofficial, the uncle put down a rebellion. The Mongols are crossing the bridge. You three, follow me, and stay close. What's going on? Disturbance of the main gate. Stack! Let's find out what they want. People of Yariqal learned your speech, so I may offer you a future. Open your gates before my camp flies the black flag, and you will know great mercy, refuse, and you will know terrible misery. Choose your future, Yariqo. They're leaving, let's go. If Yariqo surrender us, Lord Shimmera won't get his army. Don't worry, they're too stubborn to surrender. If they don't, it will be a bloodbath. They need my uncle as much as he need. They're going to survive, let go of the past. Easier said than done. Wujima knows you're here. You two go ahead. I want to check on the swordsmith. Lord Sakai. Ushima's Yerikawa. I never thought Lord Shimura's nephew will be responsible. You best be careful, or he'll punish you, as he punished my once great family. For inciting rebellion against your Jito, that was years ago. We've all got bigger problems now. Who's this, your servant? I was born here. Yet you're aiding, Klan Shimra. No. I'm fighting for Lord Sakai, for the ghost. We can help break the seas outside your wars. In return, Lord Shland, they will lose interest in us, and Yarekawa will survive. Like we always do. That could have gone better. Let's find Taka, Fujimasa is a fool. He can be convinced. The whole island's burning. and Yariko was next. If that doesn't convince you, nothing. Taka used to visit his swordsmith every day. If there was any leftover metal, he'd let my brother pretend to make swords. Uh-huha thinks they can outlast the siege. The smith told me all the best archers left to fight the Mongos, against Ujima's orders. They've been missing for days. If we find these archers, they may help us break the Mongol siege, and win the town's support. Meet me and old Yarikawa when you can. We'll look for them there. Show Yerikawa how to fight back. In my memory, it's huge. Spent hours with him. I'd have to drag you away. Fisherman with six poles. Isn't he leave in one of these houses? I'll choose the subject. You're not here. Thumb. I wanted to help Lord Sakai. If I stayed in Yarekawa, I'd be useless. Better useless than dead. We're searching for missing soldiers. You're not trained for this. I can learn. And I won't get in the way. Fine. But be careful. And listen to your sister. Yes, my lord. Any sign of the archers? The locals have seen them in this area, but we haven't. Let's look around. Someone killed them. It wasn't us. Arrow wounds. Where are there arrows? Pulled out to re- Sign of a scaled lodger. Tracks, three, four. Can you tell where they went? Let's find out. We used to come here to catch crickets. At least once a week. Then we can leave bamboo- Our mother. When she was angry and looking for someone to blame, the crickets kept you busy. Isn't the samurai live here? You want a match against that traveling sumo wrestler? Taka! I'm sorry. You have to... We should check the house. I'll look out here. I'm sorry. You have to... We should check the house. I'll look out here. They've been sleeping here. At least the bear didn't get them. The bear ate most of their food. Maybe that's why I'm still alive. He wasn't hungry. Arrowheads, bow strings, hide to make adhesive. The wood is still warm. The archer's worth staying in the house. They stole the Mongols explosive barrels. I like these archers. Truck's here.

@noomer: The moment the siren sounded, I knew the peaceful discussions were over. The Mongols never gave anyone much time to think. Anyway, its great to see two gamers talking about the same game but on different moments, from different perspectives. I mean, I just checked another post about this game.
@yakubnoyon: That bear attack came out of nowhere. Good thing that you had your sword ready to deal with it.
@cloudysky: Finding the sleeping area, fire, and gunpowder barrels was nice clues. It clearly showed the archers were preparing for something big.
@alpha-g: That abandoned house had all the signs that someone had just left. The warm fire and the food made it feel like you had only missed the archers by a few minutes.
@venapboyz: The images of the arrival at the village are vibrant, as is the welcome. I really like the entire color palette. The conversations and exploration of the village in search of the mission are a very well executed sequence. Well done.

@mavvxen: Taka's decision to stand and fight was my favorite moment and finding the abandoned hideout with the gunpowder barrels really made it feel like something big was about to happen.
