@owasco: My son took prednisone, was prescribed tons of prednisone, from age 8 to 16, at which time he became unable to stand, walk or leave his bed at all. Horrible choice to have to make. In his case there were alternatives, but the doctor relied on the one that had immediate positive effect. It kept him in school, until it had rendered him unable to go anywhere at all. I hope you find some other way! I'm so sorry you have to go through this. I've been there. Not the same illness, but quite debilitating. I couldn't watch the video. Do I have to have an account to view 3speak vids? I don't think so.
