Boom, and we're back here at the CBS studio. Wait a second. Good start. Yes, sir. We are having the 67th podcast. It's adding up, you know, day by day. You know what I wanted to say? Tell me. Six, seven. Oh, no. I'm sorry. I'm going to have to murder you. I have nothing to say. You're banned from the podcast for six to seven days. Oh, my God. Okay, first of all, happy hive birthday. Happy high birthday. We're six. Yes. Not seven. No. You're doing it also. Six years. Six years, happy birthday. Happy birthday. A little song, Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear hive, happy birthday to you. No, it's really nice to see how the time flies by, you know, and how everything is changing and how everything is growing, so many new things coming up. Yeah. The games that you're making is just bananas. Well, I kind of, I put a little bit, like, a pause. But you, you, like, smashed five games out in, like, less than a month, right? Oh, it was, I think, like, even a week or something like that. Yeah, exactly. Because I was like, I put my work aside. Yeah. I'm like, you know what? I'm going to do this. Yeah. And you did it. And I did it. It's crazy. It's nice to see that people are also playing the games and... godfish man, he's reaping those leaderboards. No, no, no, I'm just here for fun. Taking all the leaderboard, my name will be here! That's cool to see, it's really nice. It is, it is. It still, it's still, like, kind of like, still... There are no levels, you just play it. But eventually I want to, like, really do a reset. Yeah. Because I want to build game by game, like, that you can play for a long time, you know, that you can, like, I want to also create, like, you gather XP. Yeah, the total leaderboard of XP. You have, like, internal coin that you can use. Something like Solana is doing, or Polana. Yeah, just what, like, we are doing now for Polana. Yeah. we have this gaming hub but you have your internal currency that you have to spend if you want your profile to look better you can buy some cooler stuff skins and stuff like that of course you don't pay any money for that it's just like the the that you want something different than the rest, you have to kind of like play longer to get those internal token, yeah, the internal currency token that you can spend and be like, hey, look at me, I'm now looking better than you. Wow. Yeah. And in real life. Five stars, yeah. Yeah, so that is very cool. Yeah. a small announcement for those who don't know yet, or know actually, about the Wheel of Names that we created as well. Yeah. Now you can also do Sprinterlands dark energy crystals as rewards. Oh, on the wheel of names, yes. So now you can choose or Hive or Splinterlands, because I know the Splinterlands are doing all kinds of giveaways and stuff like that. So now they could actually spin the wheel and they can get the deck automatically. Oh, wow, that's super cool. Yeah. How did you do it? Did you talk to Splinterlands about it? No, I just did it all myself. You just implemented this. Yeah, so because Hive is like, everything is open source, actually. So you just go to Hive, you see the layer two tokens, pick back, boom, boom, that's it. So, anybody listening, if you want to have your token being spent on the wheel of names? Yeah. Ask me together. Yeah, just talk to us. You know where to find us, usually, on Discord, and I can implement any, like, I was thinking to also implement, start implementing, like, a zinc token. Essency points. I can also do, so yeah, yeah. Yeah, super cool. Moving forward. Yeah. Do we do like a serious one, or let's talk about something. nice first yeah let's talk about something nice. Let's keep the serious little bit. Yeah, so I had a meeting a couple of days with an old friend of ours where we wanted to do the diabetes app, you know, for children to see how... Yeah, I remember the guy. Like to try to keep the youth healthier and give them some sort of routines, you know, what they can do with nothing or with very little things, you know. It's been a long time, actually. It's been six years. It's been a long time, time. I should have left you, left you. Now, no, B, step two, step two, step two, step two, baby, step two. Tiki, tiki, tiki, baby, girl. What did you mean? So, yeah, I had a meeting with him. I had coffee with him, and he's making a sort of expo festival in Zutumir in the Netherlands. And there would be a lot of alternative sports and everything. And he remembered that he knows us because we did... a lot with Hackysack with alternative sports in the Souda Park where they have a festival from the Haksa Hip Hop Center. Yep. And he invites us to do a workshop in that festival. That's cool. And if this picks up, maybe we'll later can get some budget and actually do some... bigger workshops and that's cool that i remember those days when we're like really like so focused on hacky-sac i remember that somebody like literally contact me to do like a neighborhood festival they paid me like 300 euros to do like an hour and a half workshop for children yeah that's cool one and only time that I ever had this kind of opportunity that's crazy it's super nice you know but then you have to also think like what how do you start the workshop you know how do you start learning people yeah and I was thinking I already told the idea that we maybe can make an app where you can have, like, a hacky sack spots. Now we can. Yes. Where you have hacky sack spots, and people can say, like, oh, I'm chilling there from that time to that time, you know, so if you're up to play, because you can play alone, but also it's super nice to play with some people, and especially it's even more nicer, how we used to play, like, just running around and, like, shooting the ball, you know, like, for 10, 50 meters further and catch it and run around. Yeah, that was crazy. I remember. That's super cool. But also, you can do with a net. which makes it competitive, so you get points, you know, and a lot of the time, you know. I still have the nets. Yeah, yeah, yeah. A lot of times, it's very hard to kind of push people to play Hackysack, because from a side it can look like kind of lazy game if you're just like doing the circle and you're just passing around, you know. Yeah, but the next day you don't, if you haven't like played for hacky sack for a long time, you'll play it and the next day you're like, ah, my legs! Yeah, so... thinking about the app also, so that's super cool. Yeah, because, man, I still remember, like, really think when we're so... into it, into this project. I'm like, man, having an application when you just go on the map and you see people, like, sign in, like, we are playing Hakeas here, they sign in, and they, like, show the point where they are. Yeah, you have, like, internal chat or whatever. And you're just walking around, you're like, holy moly, somebody's playing Hacker's. And you're like, yo, guys, are you playing, can I join? And the guy's like, yeah, yeah, you can join, and then you go there, five minutes later, hey, can I? That's cool. And it's like, Usually, like, people who are playing hakeset, they're, like, really chill, relaxed people. And that's why this application, I think, would be working, it would work. Another thing that I was thinking, our friend Yarleko Balls, I think, the guy who juggles and also does the hexac, he visits us here for one time. He's from Venezuela, but he has a lot of videos, like tutorial videos, also of all kinds of tricks and stuff. Yeah. He does a lot of that. those kind of things why not also to like contact him and say could you do like tutorial videos for the beginners and for better you know and then you have all these tutorial videos in the app also yeah that would be awesome yeah That will be awesome. Because we wanted also, like, to name the tricks, to, like, because there are so many tricks out there, they have names, but there are also tricks that nobody ever thought of names. Also videos of how to make the balls. Oh, yeah. And those we can ask of our friend who gave us the ball. Yeah. He's there. Yeah. Four-time champion, yeah. If not more, I think I'm really, really, really awesome. But yeah, so that's super cool. So that's on our mind. May 21st, it will be the festival. So we're also preparing for that. Tomorrow, which is going to be Monday, the podcast will come out later. We're going to get all the information from him and see. how we can implement ourselves into that festival. Yeah. I think it will be a nice comeback. Yeah, that's cool. And when you, it's big, you know, good weather is around the corner, summer is around the corner. Exactly. It's like the perfect time to start doing something. Perfect time. Say goodbye. Say goodbye to your legs. Yes, yeah. Oh, mine are, okay. I'm on the bike 30 kilometers a day. Hey, I'm okay. 30 kilometers, dirty kilometers. Dirty, very dirty. Ment toast, fresh minced, French toast, mentids. Yeah. Guess where Hive Debit is now? Oh, yeah, that's a good one. Debit is on EOS. Yes. So that's, that means it. another coin is being implemented for high debit or are they using Hive? No, no, they're using Hive, but I mean, first it was all this time on Android and everybody were asking when is going to come out on Apple. Oh, iOS. iOS. I thought about EOS. No, EOS. Yeah, I said EOS. Yeah, but I'm thinking about Dan Larimer. No, no, no, no, no. who actually created everything everything yeah i still some time to time uh uh boy we still talk about him and we're thinking like man he's that guy was a genius yeah he created something amazing i'm interested if he's working on something else also like what what is the next step for him you know i don't know nobody nobody knows or my yeah i think i think uh if if i could talk to a boy and see if we can contact him. How awesome it would be to have him here on the podcast. I'll talk tomorrow. What is the journey? Yeah, you know what, I'll see Boy Tomorrow and then I'll see if I can, when I talk to him. Didn't he move to another country, he said? Yeah, he came back for vacation. He's moving like that. Yeah, I bet. But because he's setting up everything in Portugal, it takes a long time. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But I'll talk to him and see if we can get in content with Dan. That would be amazing. How, yeah, that would be cool. and he will look at highly, what did you do? It's burning. Well, that's what he does. He creates and says, now govern. Yeah, yeah, do it. Play, play around. And if you'll screw it up, it's on you guys. I gave you something beautiful. Look at EOS. Yeah, but EOS was a bit harder because they had, like, incredible fees and everything. pretty hard to maintain the blockchain itself. It was quite a few good games on EOS, but you know how it is. I know how it is. Everybody comes in, takes all the money, and then all the transactions and everything. It was a long time ago, actually, and if you think how far we came with blockchain and the transactions in seconds and cost nothing. I'm thinking, wow, man, it's insane. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, we all knew that that's something where we were going to, but it went so fast. It went so fast, and also, we're still undiscovered blockchain. and that's quite a big problem because everybody is searching for the solutions, which we already have for a long time, you know. But, you know, every time it's like... ...under the rock and look at the sun for a change. But people are, like, we are still under a rock, actually, our blockchain. And the thing is, like, people think that, oh... others will be looking for the rock and looking what's under the rock. That's not how it works. And I keep on telling everybody, like, listen, if you have a solution for somebody, and you know the solution is high, show them. Just show them, this is the solution, this is how you can do it, and if they're interested, we're all here to help, right? Absolutely, absolutely. I will see. Yeah, talking about that. There was a very great marketing meeting. Yeah. that was hosted by Starkers and we had people from Essency, we had people from quite few daps. Yeah, we had also block trades. Yeah, good karma. Yeah, good karma, Jarvi. Who else was there? Can't remember. Yeah, well, anywho. We had some important members there. It's very important that we have those talks, you know, because... how we're moving forward it might bite us in our leg, you know, so we definitely need to talk as much as possible and try to implement the things to secure the greater future for high blockchain, no? Yeah, like what they were talking a lot about was the... the transparency of spending HBD or like the DHF, what they got from the community, and that every project should be as transparent as possible. Yeah, there is no other place in the world where you can get subsidies and they're not looking on what you're spending. Right. Yeah. Like other places. Well, the thing, well, Yeah, you have, like, grants in other places. True, but you do a big report on what you're going to spend. What you're going to spend on how you're going to, yeah, exactly, you have to really show exactly what you're going to do. But on Hive, it's like, this is a project of mine, and I want to do it, and I will do it. Here's the money. Yeah. And they're like, okay, I did it. Show me. It's working, okay. But. Show me how, like, where did all the money go? How did you spend? Like, but it's very normal for every project to do that, right? So now you have some projects that are showing some kind of transparency, and what they do is just, they just tell us 85 % went to the, for the developers, 10 % went this and 5% went that. this is still not transparent. This is just saying how many percent you did per per category. But like, let's go a little bit more in detail because we, when we did our project, we showed receipts, we showed everything. So everything, every little part. Nobody is doing that. No. Okay, okay. Then there's another step, like. There are projects on Hive that say like, listen, okay, transparency is fine, but we're not going to downsize, we're not going to do anything. We got the money because we already, like, calculated how much we need for this project to, you know, to work. And, okay, I understand that part a little bit. But I think you can find a way to squeeze a little bit. And SNC, where the only, is the only project that really squeezed like really squeezed they got rid of one developer yeah so now it's only two developers in essency and they even downsize their salaries yeah that's how we do it and that's I mean and it's amazing because this is this shows like how much they are there for the for the blockchain for the community so truly it's coming from their heart and they understand the situation. But again, if it's only them and the rest is like, me. It just, it sucks because then you have somebody who is willing to help, and then you have somebody who is not willing to help. Yeah. And which we always had on Hive, we have, like, the differences, and how we see Hive and our blockchain and our community, and where should we do the marketing? How should we do the marketing? Should we do the marketing? Where are we going to spend? No, don't spend. There's a lot of questions, and that's why these kind of... talks are very important, you know. Yeah. It could be more often, like, every couple of months, you know, every quarter, just do one, and then let's talk about everything, what happened in those three months, you know, how we got better, what did we change, what we're going to do in upcoming three months, you know, like a little bit, a little bit of, you know, ownership of what we're doing. Like, okay, we have this hive. Hive conversations on Discord once a week. Yeah. But it's always like a different topic or a different, a different member of the community that we are going to talk about or they talk about. But like when you used to work for Commodo, you had every week you had a town hall. And you would explain, like, what you guys did the whole week for the whole week. This week, we did this, that, this happened, this that happened, that happened. And I think it would be nice if we would have on Discord, of Hype Discord, a some kind of town, town hall, if somebody can... It's like what we do with CBRS, right? We do the podcast. We used to show a little bit more of the news and everything. But like, really a town hall where somebody goes there and this is what happens. So we have this week, this week that, this week this, this week that. And that's it. And somebody can just really focus on watching the town hall. The thing is like there's so many things happening. it would be hard to kind of compress everything in one, or you would have to have, like, a direct communication with multiple daps, with splinterlands, with everything, with whatever games, whatever applications, you know, and have some sort of comms from them, so you could talk about it, you know, because otherwise it would be really hard for yourself to go to each place and try to find that information within the week. But if somebody would say, like, Oh, we have these news for you this week. This app says, like, oh, we have these news this week. And everybody, like, gives the information to some sort of specific person or a group of people. And then the host can kind of, like, gather all the information and then present it in the town hall. That would be cool. Yeah. But that means that to you, again, that should take ownership on providing that. Yeah. That would be cool, you know, like, literally some sort of kind of news cycle of what is happening. It's for the community. It's more, at least the engagement in the community is like... Wouldn't the DAPs want people to know? Oh, yeah, definitely. For the DAPS is also better, because, I mean, even like... To be stream to one channel instead of, like, everybody, besides that everybody's promoting themselves and telling the information and updates and news of their own DAP and their own projects. through their channels but also kind of like stream it into one some sort of like generally like news channel right yeah downhole yeah kind of thing that would be very interesting yeah that would be cool because then uh everybody would know that is the place where you should if you miss something you go there You just watch the town hall for 15 or 20 minutes, and you're like, ah, so these things happen. And then if you are interested in something specific, then you just go to the post and you read it. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. I think that's a very nice idea to have. Who's going to do it? Everybody should do it on their own. Yeah. Or like maybe to make a Discord channel news, the word apps can just... give the information, and then from that news channel, in a town hall, everybody talks about it. Yeah. It has a discussion or whatever. So yeah. That's about it for now. Yeah, we're thinking what to talk about. And that would help us also for our podcast. Oh, yeah. You go somewhere to read everything, and then we make this video also. Because then it's not only about, like, giving the news, but we can really start, like, talking about it, like, the discussion. Yeah, and what we do now, normally, we go for coffee, and then we scroll through channels on X, on a hive. whatever we can check, you know, in the small period of time, we try to understand what we can talk about in the podcast, and then we come here, and then we record. Yeah. So, yeah. I was sick the whole week, man. I was sick like a dog. Yeah. I still, you could probably hear from my voice at the time. Yeah, yeah. But the whole week, like, come, man. And it was such a good weather. Such a good weather, and I was in the bed, like, crying and... I was in bed crying. I didn't even want to cry, but my eyes were just tearing up. Like, I had to work. I know, some of us know the feeling, where you don't want to cry, we…
