@theworldaroundme: Very true and lovely video and narration dearest @calendulacraft not much nowadays are keen on repairing clothes, fashion is the culprit. I do find it more satisfying making clothes wearable again by mending them. Possibly most people don't give time or have no time and patience in doing them or possibly don't know how to do them? It is a skill we need to teach the younger ones. Also, some materials some clothes are made of are not worth repairing, they have poor quality and buying them will be much cheaper. So many factors. The old clothes seemed to have better quality materials, built to last and when there's a problem we fix them. Now it seems all evolved in business and moneymaking which is a little bit annoying, quality is not the same anymore. 🩷
