@nomadicjourney: I got to convert back to airless pads. You're right regarding air pads; one night, probably a cold one, you'll find yourself on the ground due to a slow leak. I just need to get back to traveling, I always find that kind of stuff, especially in Arizona. Or a kind soul gives one away. Ride on

@doctorchapman: I'm wanting to switch from air to foam because the air pads always leak at the seams eventually. Being the cheap skate I am though I can't bring myself to spending the 30 bucks they're wanting for a 3/4" piece of foam now. When it seems like yesterday those were going for 5 bucks.

@deepspiral: I love your posts man keep it up, usually lurking over here ;D Have a pleasant rest of the day and a healthy year!

@scottshots: Nice. Just an occasional backpacker here. I went from foam pad to a couple different inflatables and now back to a thermarest foldable foam pad. Leaks are no fun. Foam works best especially now that my dog usually joins me. Foam pads are ready to go with no heavy breathing needed for inflation after a big hike. The foldable one works great as a cushy seat pad on a log or boulder. And the firmness is nothing a flask of good tequila can't fix... Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

@outdoor.life: It would be good to see some more text explaining the video a little, setting up what people will see.
