@revisesociology: That's a great idea but I think when you roll it the tape might unstick quite quickly. Maybe you could make a sort of 'open pillow case' out of the reflective material instead like I'm thinking like a regular pillow case , where you have that flap that folds back to hold the pillow case in. Maybe better to have two 'pockets' at either end of the reflective material (about 6 inches deep) then you tuck the sleeping mat into either end. If you see what I mean?
