I haven't done this in a long time. I am alive and thriving. Let's see if I can get a decent... Let's see if I can get a decent video done for three speaking. So what's been on to go? Do you all know me? Bradley Arrow. You know me from the BBH project, drip day, BBHO token for the BBH project front end. You know I have posted every single day since I joined Hive, well over 2,000 days. You all know the situation in Cuba. Let's take it a hat off. So, Kathy, my wife, on how I've known as Kathy Arrow, was in Cuba last year for a trip, and she met a family. A young family, just had a newborn. and they treated there really, really well. Then the crisis came to Cuba, and we were trying to figure out a way to support the family without sending them money that might get intercepted by the Cuban government or without a lot of fees. Me knowing how Hive works in Cuba and Venezuela, places like that, I thought myself, well, let's get Kathy's friend family and my now on the Hive. And then we could send them funds through Hive. which is Feles. Oh, no, he's in there, doing something. And then they... Doing a video. What are you doing? I'm just paying my couple it up after my turn jacket. Okay, well, I'll kill my video, then. No. I can't talk when there's other people around. I thought to a bedroom. Okay, just for a little bit. I just got to get the freaking cats got up in the candy just last night. You didn't bring up your bottle of wine? Oh, shit, you'll have to go get that for me after. I'll go get it for you. I'll get it for you. I'll eat me Easter crevag now. I'm going to go up in the bedroom where he's doing something. I got to call on for two in a minute. Jackie, what happened to? Andy, you can see, Kathy was down in the basement. We're doing some minor renovations of the house. She was down the basement painting some drawer covers for the family of the bathroom. Anyway, I'm laughing because I'm no good doing a video with somebody watching me, even if it's my wife. Anyways, where was it? Yes, so the thought was if we could support families, a family in Cuba. with Hive HBD. That would be awesome thing. So we got our friend to sign up to Hive, lots of coaching. It took about two and a half weeks before he was finally able to understand how to transfer HBD to Cuban pesos. But he got it done. And that's fantastic. One example was their babies turned one year old at the end of the month. And Kathy was really hoping to get back to Cuba this year for the baby's first birthday. But in Canada, there's no way to get there. No air carriers are flying to Cuba. from Canada. So, Kathy really wanted the baby to have a birthday cake. And that costs the equivalent of tenuous dollars, one birthday cake. Our friend of Cuba, their monthly wage, if he doesn't get laid off. from his job, he works at a resort. His monthly wage is only equivalent to $10 U.S. dollars. So we were able to get equivalent of $100 U.S. dollars sent to this family. That is 10 months wages if they live their life the way they're living. They're extremely happy. They're going to be able to have a nice birthday for their baby. They'll be able to have food. So, you know, it's a really good feeling to be able to reach out and help people. From this was born my idea of the BBH Foundation. So I started a new Hive account for the BBH Foundation. Now's the hard part. is getting it funded. Kathy and I funded the first family because she knows them out of her own pockets. Canadian dollars cost is about $150 Canadian, but it's well worth it. So what I want to do now is take donations to the BBAH Foundation. and on Hive, the count is at the BBH Foundation. Pretty simple. One-term goals, not just do Cuba, but do other places in the world. But we're going to start with Cuba. What we want to do is get stories, get submissions. get families that are in dire needs, stories. And we'll go through stories, we'll choose the families, and we'll send them, hopefully, equivalent in high of $100 US dollars each. Through this process, the last two and a half weeks, I discovered a really easy way to do it for Cuba. Most everyone, average person in Cuba, has a bank card. I've discovered how I can transfer Hive, and it'll be exchanged directly into Cuban pesos and put on their, for a better term. here in Canada, their debit card they use for making purchases. That's what I did for our friend, well, he did some of it, but then I learned that I could do it for him, is I can get transfer sent directly to their card. So if we can get the BBH Foundation funded, right now, to start out of hoping. get it funded up to 1,000 HBD, or an equivalent in Hive. And then we can start funding some more families in Cuba directly. Once that's done, whether we stay in Cuba or start going to other countries, that'd be dependent on how many stories, how many people need help, how many people are on however willing to submit me stories of families that they believe are in need of financial help. This is what I'm up to. This is what me and Kathy are up to. We are very lucky, very, very lucky to live in a country like Canada. Sometimes we forget how lucky we are. You know, you leave your life day to day, you've got complaints. But when you have time to sit down, stop, and think about how good we have it here, compared to other places in the world. We're extremely lucky. It makes me very thankful. So, this is my plea. There's a lot of good people on Hive, a lot of excellent people on Hive. And if we can get the word out to people on Hive, everyone on Hive, what me and Kathy are up to, I'm sure the donations will come in fast and furious. And Kathy and I will start helping a lot of families in Cuba and other countries and around the world. Make the world a few people. At the time, a better place. I've been on Hive six and a half years, and I believe this is what Hive is all about. Hive is not just a blockchain. It's there to help people out. It's a look what Collins. has done with boreholes over in Gannon. It's absolutely, absolutely amazing. Hive is about changing lives for the people that need help. That's my belief in Hive. When I find a family that we can fund, I'll do screenshots, I'll do blog posts, explaining what we've done, how much we sent so you can see it. And hopefully, hopefully, families will give feedback, maybe give pictures. Like for the family that we mean Kathy sponsored, maybe we'd get pictures of the birthday party of the one year old.
