Guys, welcome back to my blog, this beautiful Thursday, this is A Days in Christ, and I'm sharing my memory of how I saw masquerade in a festival I went after a very long time. Guys, I don't know whether to start laughing at myself, because when we're kids, they told us that masquerades are spirits, so we're so afraid of the masquerade. But now it's no more like that, because we've really known that they are human beings, and they just come to display and make people laugh. Okay, this is a barrier ceremony. After the barrier, the masquerades came out. They are invited both in wedding, maybe birthday, various ceremonies, but the ones that come, the fearful ones mostly come out in various ceremonies. And that is why sometimes we're afraid of them, we think that they are spirits. because of the stories that goes behind them. But today I'm so happy because I saw this masquerade in this very ceremony I went in Imo State because this eastern part of Nigeria, they have more masculine than other places that are visited. And some of them are very fearful. These ones, they are not even the fearful ones. They just come to play around with people. So guys, just watch and drop your comment. I don't really know what kind of masquerade you have in your place, how they perform. Some of these ones are not dangerous. They are not really harmful. some harmful ones but these ones are not the harmful ones. I don't know how many people.
