Yo, we're back with a new video. I wanted to go over some progress I've made since yesterday. As you may see here at the top of the website, there are some changes from my previous video. So let's go over some of them real quick. If this is the first time you're watching these videos, this tab for music. Scrabbles basically we track when people registered with our website, listen to music, and it'll save them here. You can see latest songs. It's been three days because I haven't used this section of the site today. Then it will show latest comments, which isn't working for now for some reason, but new songs means new Scrabbles, basically songs that no one has tracks, that this was a new track added on top of, you know, the previous tracks of the song already. All right, so videos, this means this one is added wrongly. I'm checking with the program right now why this one was added as music. I mean as videos, even though it should be music. I don't know why it's not, this is supposed to be in the music tab, but sometimes YouTube miscategorizes them, or it's like the uploader themselves, miscategorize them as a video, not a song, not a music video. So we're adding insert, we're using potentially a Spotify checker, which we already have implemented to get the... ISRC number would have been tracked before. It's not a YouTube search bar, you can't just go in here and look for songs you want, like Mick Jagger, for instance, it's not going to show anything. But if you type in Eminem, you'll find Eminem songs that people have scribbled. So you could potentially just sit here and listen to music. and, you know, but it's YouTube, it's like a YouTube embed, it's not that much. Here you will be able to read the lyrics. You'll be able to place comments either on the discussion. Like, if you just want to leave a comment about the song, a general comment, like, yo, I really like this one, it'll go here. If you want to leave a timed comment, like, let's say especially on this part, if, you know, Eminem says something cool or interesting, you're like, with that line he meant this, blah, blah, you can, you'll be able to, it says I'm not connected right now, but I'm going to connect on a different account. Then the other one I used to test with. Anyway. So when you leave a timed comment, it'll place like a small little box here showing that there's a timed comment here. So when the song gets to that part, it will show the timed comment here and replies or, you know, amount of upwards it received or whatever. Alright, but now let's get into some of the other things I've been working on lately. One of them is podcasts. This one I haven't gotten too much into because I don't really listen to podcasts that much. But one thing we did here that's interesting is that there was a open source, MIT licensed Scrobber for movies and TV shows. And this is still, you know... like browser based, it's an extension, so you can't, like, you can't expect to, it to, like, track when you watch a movie, you know, on the TV or your phone, it's, phone, maybe, if we can get extension, if you're watching it on the browser, but anyway, this is more for, if you're watching, like, Netflix, or... Disney Plus or anything that's browser related. It'll be able to track it automatically, and if you're giving it permission with keychain, it will post a custom JSON on the Hive, and it'll know who it was that watched it, that scrobled it, and it'll place it here. But you can also, you also have the option to do a manual input. because movies, you know, they're pretty long. You may, maybe it's, something gets messed up, it doesn't add it or whatever. You can just go here, you know, check for the movie. This uses Wikipedia at the moment. So you look for the movie, you give it a rating, how much, you know, you liked it, you can even backdate. if you remember exactly when, but, you know, you don't have to, you can just use it moving forward. And you can also post a snap if you want to add a comment, like, you know, I really like this one, blah, blah, and, or, you know, more detailed comment, it's sort of like a reviewer. You can also post it all snaps. and it'll include this, wait, what else was it that it included? Let me check real quick. Alright, so here you can see how it added the test. So it's still somewhat, you know, visible, okayish, maybe a bit too many tags. I'm going to have to remove some of them. But you can add, you know, what you thought about it, people can vote it up. But that's not really like the important part. It's more about, like, being able to track your movies and then to log them. And KeyJing will ask you if you want to post it. And it's logged. No Snap, so it's just a custom JSON. And if you didn't refresh... Eventually it'll show up. So now you know that, once sec, I have cloud running in the background, fixing something. So now, you know, you're able to fetch more data from Wikipedia as well, director, cast, runtime, and genre. Same for the other movies. And this will be a list for everyone. I want this to become more compact, where it only shows the image and the score under the image, under the poster. So it's going to be able to fit, like, you know, like, say, 10 movies per row, or 8 movies per row or whatever. But then still split it up based on yesterday. Okay, it got it in now, Claude. Good job. So now if you want to, if this isn't yours, you know, it was provided by someone else, you'll be able to click it, see who tracked it, when did they watch it, etc. And, yeah, that's pretty much it. Should have added that clicking on the image closes it automatically. It seems to work pretty good so far. Then we also have TV show. I don't know why I didn't manage to find an image for the office. I may have to give it like if, you know, Wikipedia fails to provide an image, search from somewhere else. The issue right now is a lot of sites have closed down their APIs very, very hard. I don't know what's going on. They're like API scrapers going out everywhere, I think. just trying to scrape the whole of the internet as much as they can, so people are getting hammered with API calls, so they're trying to, like, you know, like put a stop to it by closing down their API access more and more so that, you know, you either have to pay if you want something, or... But, you know, I mean, it makes sense in a way, I guess. And, like, once we have a working project, I think it's going to be reasonable to have some costs. If there's people interested in using this and, you know, checking what other people are watching, checking how they're rating things, checking the average ratings based on hivers. Checking the average rating based on your friend list. Checking what your friends are watching. Podcast same. There might be like, we're going to add like even like comments section here where people's snaps are added based on, you know, how much they got up votes for or how much engagement they received or... basically just when they added the snap compared to the next one for the specific movie. Alright, so my voice is a bit weird, sorry about that, but I just wanted to get this quick video out. Let's see how this develops. I'm also in the process soon of getting a domain, getting a server to run this on, so I'll be able to have people come on and test it. which will be fun and show, like, a lot of new bugs probably that I haven't really pound myself. But yeah, that's pretty much it. Thanks for watching, and hopefully you'll give this a try when it's live. It'll be interesting to see what you think. All right, laters.

@videoaddiction: I think incorporating scrobbling for movies and TV shows is a great method to improve the user experience.
