Yo, how's it going? I thought I'll make a video today going through a rather new process that I haven't done before. I got myself a subscription to Ilben Labs, where I'll be doing some sound effect creation for the TCG. And right now for the Hollow Zeng Survivor game. So, you know, if you're bored and you want to watch me, look through a lot of soundbites, pick out the best ones, get some, it's mostly going to be like me copypitting prompts from Claude. And, uh, yeah, just picking what the best ones are, then you're in the right place. If not, wait, did I copy this properly? It's going to be, it seems a bit difficult because 11Lab seems to create sound effects that, yeah, they come out like this. Wait, let me see if you can even hear it. Try with whatever this is. This is going to be for the move called Seed Burst. This one's going to work. Yeah, let me check that you don't actually see where I'm saving stuff. So I don't give away my folders names and stuff like that. Okay, it should be fine. Okay, so this is going to be called bulletseed. launch.wab. As you can see here, it's a one second long, but it only plays it for like a split second. I've already told Claude to inspect the sound file and to cut out like dead noise. So the idea is that when I do bullet seed, it will do this. like every time it's shooting it and naturally sound effect sounds or volume and music volume are going to be adjustable for players so you don't need to go insane if I picked some crazy sounding sound effects all right let's go for when bullet seed impacts next Impact prompt, quick seed strike contact, sharp dry, pop with woody crack, brief organic thud. Let's see what it comes up with. Those are mostly trash. Except this one. Let's try with refining. Just tell Cloud that it doesn't start in the beginning. Bullitt's C. Impact. WAB. All right, let me just tell it real quick. Now a little bit of waiting around. I think with 11 lab seems that you need to do a lot of prompts to get what you want and sound effects, and if you, when you go for music, it's very costly. Like I started yesterday, I paid like 11 bucks for, for 120 credits. 120k credits I believe and it took like 10k credits or 9k just for one one song so I'm not gonna have a lot of leeway in terms of music but you know we should have something working at least for the few games I've been working on It's still waiting around for Cloud. It's inspecting the sound files currently and implementing them into the GoDat game. It's taken well longer than I expected. It says that it found a bug and it was bigger than it expected. A launch file is corrupted because my trim script output routine assumed the canonical 44 byte. WAV header, but 11 labs writes a less chunk between FMT and data. Script copied bytes, 0 to 43 verbatim, then wrote my new size, okay. Creating a fix now. So we need to re-import both of these files. Let's use this one. launch, then it was this. I kind of like to try the sound effects in the game as well to see if it's working as intended. Let's see if we can do this after this update. So you guys have something more entertaining to look at. Alright, let me see if it's implemented the sound effects into the game. Build, launch. Wait, you guys need to see this. How do I need to see this? How do I... Wait, I need to create a new window for... the game... Yeah, not that one. So it's just here on top now. Alright, so this is the game. So the sound effects we just created. I'm hearing the impact sound though. time I can tell. Let me pause it. Just telling it, just telling it that I'm not able to hear the bullet seat impact on enemies. in that field. You hear the attack speed. The flower in the game should be able to pick or gather. It's going to cost a lot of mana until I got it. But now I'm out of mana, so I give myself a potion, and then I heal. Sunflower, I'm not sure if I have the skills for that one. Not skilled enough. There's some other manna for now, I can't mind it in a lot more. I have to wait for my mana to get back to 40. Let's restart this. My game should be back up now. The back, what's it called? The impact should work. impact now. He was an elite so we can test many impacts at once. Alright, it works. Let's die real quick. Noise. Okay, back to creating sounds then. Let's go with chain lightning bolts next. This one's gonna be a hard, hard one, because with lightning it wasn't really doing well the other day. 11 labs. Sounds like trash. Okay, why is it making it more and more? Let's try with just manual prompt, I guess. I think I'm gonna go with that. for impact Didn't need to be way shorter. I don't want to like overthink these too much. So next one we have projectile icy pics. Let's go with Claude's prompt first. Let's put that. An icepeg impact Let's pick that. We have a lot of sounds to go through. I can take a break and try with some music here soon. This one's going to be difficult. Either of those. with this a poison shell I also ask it for prompts, because that didn't do anything. I buy it. I just want the first sound, not the second one. Scratch Impact, then we need a headbutt impact. Headbut Impact. Let's try music. This is where the credits go quickly. So you can see here, 6K credits for 4 minutes of audio. 15 minutes, just kidding. and seems to be the max. So it's suggesting synthwave orchestral hybrid with anime slash jpop. Fount A. 30 second duration for testing. Try it out. I think jop slash persona leaning. a fan of that one. I feel like we should try longer versions of these now. wrong song. Like you have to imagine playing it at the same time, I think. Let me try again with the game on. I don't think it fits at all. Let me try the other. Just a one note. Uh, pause this or close it. Let's go again with, uh, pulsating. Let's do like, uh, more variants. duration to start. better be good. Let's play as well at the same time so we can... Here the sound effects as well as, you know, the music. at all this fits more like a... I don't know if you guys can hear me even. This fits more like a driving music or something. It sounds a bit too, I don't know, like, uh, maybe too much synth wave. Let's try something completely different. How much we have 99k credits remaining. Should be enough. let's try this one Nope. I'm not a fan of any of those. Let's try some drum and bass action. That's okay. I think we'll go with the drum and bass versions and then add in like one of the other ones for boss fights or whatever like this one I'm gonna take a break, then continue on with sound effects for the rest of the moves, so yeah, I just thought I'll show you guys a little bit of the process behind all this. For those interested, the sound effects should be working, but I don't have one for fire moves yet, I don't think. Let's try it a little quick. Also don't have one for Gust.
