Yo, how's it going? Today I wanted to record a quick update on the website, and the app got a lot of work done again. Still not feeling ready to release yet, or like, you know, announce where the site is located and things like that, because I want to make sure everything is safe and ready. But yeah, I want to go over some functions that we've implemented today. This is what the website looks like right now. It looks okay-ish. Here you can download the extension or go to GitHub to download it. This one gives it to you as a zip that you then extract and on Chrome or Brave. You have to enter developer mode because the extension is not in the Google's web store yet. So it means you have to, like, load an unregistered extension, I guess, that's what it's called. I don't know what it's called. Anyway, this is what it looks like when you're inside. Here it shows top songs of the last 24 hours. So you can see this song has two Scrabbles. This is this whole month. It's mostly from me testing on a different account earlier in the month. This is all-time stats, 320 Scrabbles, 181 unique songs, four unique Scrabblers. I'm going to be saying that word a lot, I can tell already. So this is a, it shows how much of the songs you've listened through. Native 90% I guess is pretty okay. These are the top scrawlers. This was my testing account from earlier. This is when I put in my main account, and these are a couple testers I've had. Check out the site. This one shows new songs, means... Scrabbles that haven't been registered before. Latest songs could mean any song, even if it's a duplicate that's already been Scrabbled before. And these are comments, which you can leave through snaps. You can either leave a regular comment that will be displayed here in the discussion box for a specific song. Or you can leave a timed comment so that, let's say, we put this song on, we go here, and you want to leave a comment on this exact spot, for instance. It'll notice that it's there at 138, you leave a comment, you say something like, oh, yeah, this part, blah, blah, something. and once you've written it, you should be able to snap it. I'm not sure, okay, so this is another bug that appeared now that I just noticed. Need to look into that, so there's still a few things I need to check out. This is your own Scrabble history, and then you can also enter your personal logbook of songs. I'll show you, like, some more details when you listen to the songs, and you can also, like, go to the songs by clicking on them here, and it'll start, you know, you can start playing it here, it'll show lyrics. I don't think these are the correct lyrics, though. Maybe it takes a while to load. Like, the thing it does is, when a user is logged in, I'm not sure if you can see it on the stream, yeah. So when you log in here with Keychain, it will now automatically log you into the extension as well, if you have it installed. And then when you listen to songs, pass a certain percentage, it'll log it by creating a custom JSON transaction on your account. And then there's a streamer account that... checks for these transactions, if it's a new song that hasn't been scribbled before, it will search the Spotify API to check for the unique identifier number of the song, so that if you, in the future or someone else listens to the same song, but from a different uploader, or if it says, you know, instead of official audio, it says something like, lyrics only, or, you know, all the different versions you can find on YouTube, it'll still recognize that, okay, this is the same song still, so we'll just gonna stack the Scrabble on top of that one. And aside from Spotify API, it'll also go and look for lyrics on a different API site that offers free API calls. But... But one thing to notice is that it's not perfect right now yet. There's still some things where it sometimes misreads the names based on what the YouTube channel is called. It sometimes, when it searches for a Spotify API, it may not find the correct song, either because it's not there. or because, you know, some YouTube channels are written, or like, some songs are posted by random users, so it may, like, confuse the program. And there's sometimes some wrong ones that appear like this one. It's supposed to be Joyner Lucas, but for some reason, you know, it picked something completely different. I've never really heard of this. Like right now we're not letting people edit the Scrabbles as they're happening because it may lead to abuse, like where people, you know, they may add like a link or something malicious to them, which we don't really want. And the extension only works on certain sites. I can show you the extension. here in the connectors, you can see that for music, it only works on these sites right now. And for movies and TV and podcasts, it works on these sites. It should probably be Spotify there as well. But yeah, like, it's split up in music videos, although there's still some difficulties with... separating the two. Like, sometimes it doesn't know that it's a video and not a music, like a song. And podcasts here, we're also haven't tested it much for movies. It should work. Like, I've been, I've, uh, forked the universal tracked Scrabler along with the web Scrabler. That's both are like MIT licensed open source. So I forked both of them and combine them into the Hive Scrabbler, basically. So it should work for movies, videos, and music, and TV and everything altogether, based on where you're watching. But obviously, like, only browser-related, like, if you have a Netflix app or program installed, it's not going to be able to fetch it from there. And since movies and TV are a bit more, you know, like you can watch them from your TV or cinema or like anywhere not on your browser, we've allowed for manual input. And unfortunately, nowadays only Wikipedia allows free API calls for these things. So it's not as rich as it could be. There's a T... TMDB, I think it was called, database, that's really good, but it costs like 150 per month, so I think it's not really worth to use that right now with, you know, no user base yet. But for the Wikipedia, it works quite alright, you know, like, you look for like an Avengers movie, it'll find it, here it shows that, you know, someone's watched it from the community. It should also fetch the images. I don't know why it's not doing it here. But, yeah, it should work for podcast as well. So yeah, this is more of a manual one, and you can place, when you pick it, you can give it the rating you want, a comment that will appear in the recent snap container. You can place a date of when you watched it. and if you want to snap it, of course, and it'll log it and place it here in your logbook. Let's check out. Okay, we should have a different logbook section for movies. There should be some showing here, but, oh, it's on my different accounts, okay? Either way, it should show here, like, which movies you've logged, and the dates, separated by dates. And then here it'll show everyone's logs. I think there was one movie I added, yeah, this is Iron Man. This was added by two people, as you can see. Acid, Posh and HSCR, which were some testing accounts. So I gave these, like, two different ratings, where one of them has 68 and the other one has 92. So if you look here, it'll show the average that people have rated this movie, and then top rated movies, and you'll also be able to, if you click there, to go check out the trailer, get some more info that have been fetched from Wikipedia, and then the idea is that here there will be snap comments based on date, potentially also longer review posts. that have been written in, you know, the relevant communities. Yeah, that's pretty much it so far, like, things work okay. There's still a lot of things to fine tune. There's going to be a lot of scrabbles that are mislabeled early on, I imagine. The idea here is that when... When you look into a certain song, like, let's pick this one for instance, it's going to hopefully load the lyrics at some point, but it should also, it should also load this comments, show like how many comments people have placed. And then if there's timed comments, it'll show him as blocks on here, based on like where the time, on which timestamp people have logged something. The idea is that you'll be able to write comments about specific timestamps in a song, and others will be able to read them when they're listening to them here on the website. They can see discussions and lyrics sometimes, sometimes it's not working. This one apparently does work. And then the reactions here are supposed to, you know, show what everyone, how everyone has reacted to different parts of the song. Like, it'll place like this circle. and people can, like, populate this with their own reactions. There's, like, a cool-down on, you know, how often you can press the same button, and how many times you can press a certain reaction. These ones are obviously not on chain, like, it felt a bit, like, too much to create custom jasons for these. Anyway, moving on, I'm now working on... a way for people to register to the website using Reddit authentication login. And we will probably have a centralized Hive account that when it scribbles a song, it'll also mention which username, which Reddit username it belongs to. This is before they get to the, you know, boring part of creating a Hive account themselves. they can test the extension and the website. We also are planning on creating a decryption, or encryption, I should say, for people who don't want their scribbles to be public, but they still want to save them immutably forever, but encrypted, and this encryption is only going to be shared by us in the beginning, like only the website will know. how to read these accounts, have their data encrypted, how to decrypt them, and this is only because for the future idea that we will have AI tools that will look into users Scrabble history, their movie history, podcasts history, their... you know, comments, reactions, things like that, to be able to recommend and suggest them, you know, new songs, new bands, new movies they may want to watch based on their history. So this is like the main thing that we're planning on using the site for. And I think something that AI can be good and use, like, for the good... you know, have like a good idea behind AI usage in this case where it thinks smarter about what to recommend you as a user based on your history compared to the tools we've had in the past where it's all like algorithmic guessing influenced by, you know, what the websites want to sell you, what advertisers want them to sell you, things like that. So yeah, that's basically like the idea and... Yeah, I hope you guys will want to test it out once it's released and simplified. Like right now, the only thing you need to do really is download the extension, make sure it loads in developer mode because it's not on the web store yet, and then you just need to log in once on the website with Keychain. And then when your first song finishes that you've listened to, and it has correctly... what's it called, like scrabbled it, it'll pop up a keychain approval message because, you know, it's posting to, it's posting like a block, a custom JSON to the blockchain, so it'll ask for your approval. And best thing to do is to check the button to not ask you again because else it's going to... ask you every time you listen to a song. Of course, if you prefer it that way, that's fine, but it may cause bugs and issues that I haven't really thought of or tested properly yet, so just, you know, fair warning there. And yeah, right now it works on Chrome and Brave. We will have to rebuild it for Firefox, and for the, you know, the other ones I haven't really thought of much yet. But let's see the interest. I mean, most people use Chrome and Brave anyway, so if there's interest early on, we can create more versions. If not, then, you know, we'll just, like, it's, it doesn't cost that much to have this running. So, even, like, for, like, personal use, I kind of want to, to log my listening history, my... you know, movies instead of using centralized websites, I thought that this would be a better place, and a good use of high transactions. So yeah, let me know what you think, and I'll see you soon with hopefully a proper launch where I announced a website and let everyone test it out. All right, laters.

@zekepickleman: Haha it is posts like these that remind me how happy I am there are specialists pressing all the little buttons that make things work around here. I really appreciate the insight and access to the actual architects and coders and almost feel like it is "we." Then I see the code again and decide maybe I should stick to the content creation and networking. ;) Bright future.

@forkyishere: Wow! This is going to be huge for a lot of artists on Hive. Love the quality... and the decentralised effect is what I am really looking for. Going to tag a person who might be interested in telling their users about this. Even if not yet ready. @atomcollector (sorry, I have to be efficient on distributing stuff nowadays) @acidyo, let me know if OK for some people to give it a try behind the scenes (not me, particularly, as I am not an artist, but I would be happy to give it a try for sure and I like to collect my own artists or movies for my personal lists or either reviewing others, although ultimately some artists I know, although @atomcollector ultimately knows a LOT more than I). FYI @ravenmus1c @steevc (but not limited, please don't feel left out if you are not here). I will keep an eye to it, anyways.

@chinito: nice. I like how u are sharing ur music with others and can chat about it..

@davideownzall: The development is going fast and steady, definitely improving time by time

It is a refuge. A rebellion. A return to what Hive.blog was always meant to be. There is no downvote button on Blurt. Not because we fear dissent—but because we honor creation. Because we understand that a voice, once raised in sincerity, deserves space—not sabotage. On Blurt, your words are your words. They are not hunted by algorithmic hounds or shadow armies masquerading as “curators.” Here, you are not judged by the grudges of gatekeepers, but met with the quiet dignity of a community that believes expression should be encouraged— especially when it is bold, raw, or inconvenient. Contrast this with what festers elsewhere. On Hive.blog—a place once brimming with promise—a rot has taken root. Not in its code, but in its culture. A handful of self anointed enforcers—@themarkymark, @Buildawhale, @Hurtlocker, and their legion of coordinated puppets—have turned the downvote into a weapon of mass discouragement. They strike not at “low quality content,” but at independent thought , at rising voices , at anyone who dares thrive outside their narrow corridors of control . And when confronted, they shrug. “Oh, it’s not censorship,” they say, as if semantics could scrub the stain of suppression from their hands. But let us be unequivocal: When a system allows a few to systematically silence many—under the guise of “community standards” or “curation”—that is not moderation. That is censorship by another name. It is the velvet glove over the iron fist. It is exclusion dressed as discernment. It is power pretending to be principle. Meanwhile, Blurt stands clean handed and open hearted. No downvotes. No hidden juries. No farms of phantom accounts casting ballots in the dark. Just you. Your words. And a community that meets you not with suspicion, but with solidarity. So let us carry this truth far and wide—not with bitterness, but with quiet certainty: If you seek a place where your voice is not a target—but a gift—come to Blurt. If you are tired of building on ground that shifts with every whim of a whale or warlord of votes—lay your bricks here. If you believe the future of free expression must be free —not just from corporations, but from the petty tyrants who replace them—then stand with us. The world needs to know. Not because Blurt is perfect—but because it is principled . Not because it is loud—but because it listens . And in an age where so many platforms echo with the clatter of control, Blurt offers something radical: Silence for the bullies. Space for the rest of us. Keep speaking. Keep sharing. Keep building. Freedom doesn’t advertise itself— it is passed, person to person, like a torch in the night. And tonight, the torch burns bright on Blurt. @themarkymark, @buildawhale, @usainvote, and associated accounts: Repeated downvotes targeting transparency efforts raise urgent questions about Hive’s governance. Automated tactics, coordinated curation trails, and alt account farming undermine trust in the platform. When truth is silenced without dialogue, it erodes Hive’s decentralized ethos. Key Concerns: 1. Systemic Manipulation : Coordinated downvotes from high HP accounts suppress dissent, creating a chilling effect on free expression. Automation and alt account networks allegedly exploit rewards, distorting organic curation. 2. Community Exodus : Creators flee to platforms like Blurt, where downvotes don’t exist, fearing punitive curation over engagement. 3. Governance Crisis : Hive’s credibility hinges on accountability. Who decides what content thrives? How do we audit power structures? Solutions Needed: Curation Transparency : Publish clear rationales for downvotes to foster trust. Community Audits : Leverage blockchain data (e.g., Bilpcoin’s analyses) to identify abusive patterns. Reward Reform : Adjust algorithms to penalize manipulation and reward authentic engagement. The Bilpcoin team advocates for open dialogue, not division. Hive’s future depends on collaboration—not coercion. Let’s rebuild a platform where truth isn’t buried but debated, strengthened, and celebrated. Transparency isn’t optional—it’s the foundation of trust. HiveTransparency BilpcoinExposed DecentralizePower" A Message to @themarkymark, @buildawhale, and Associates Every downvote cast in shadow, every silence imposed without dialogue, is not a victory—it is a confession. A confession that truth cannot be stifled, only delayed. With each punitive click, you dig deeper into the bedrock of credibility, crafting a chasm between your actions and the community’s trust. @themarkymark, @buildawhale & Co, How can you continue to downvote the truth, LOL? It’s almost comical how blatantly you attempt to suppress what cannot be hidden. The blockchain records everything—every action, every transaction, every move you make. Yet still, you persist in this futile game of trying to silence what is undeniable. @themarkymark, @buildawhale, and Co: While our opinions may differ, on chain transparency reveals repeated patterns of concern. Coordinated downvotes without explanation, 'farming' schemes (e.g., buildawhalefarm), and adversarial engagement harm Hive’s community driven ethos. Key Issues to Address: 1. Downvote Practices : Silencing dissent erodes trust. Constructive dialogue, not punitive curation, fosters growth. 2. Accountability : Transactions and curation trails are public. Scrutiny is inevitable—integrity demands addressing concerns openly. 3. Community Impact : Driving users to platforms like Blurt/Steemit weakens Hive. Creators seek ecosystems that value collaboration over conflict. A Path Forward: Engage in open discussions about governance and fairness. Audit curation practices to align with Hive’s decentralized values. Prioritize transparency—publish explanations for downvotes or collaborative reforms. The Bilpcoin team remains committed to exposing truth and advocating for solutions. Let’s work toward healing, not division. Note: All claims are based on publicly verifiable blockchain data. @mshbd: Very nice and a working idea! This automated system for keeping track of songs or movies will be useful to many users. I look forward to the security and other minor issues being resolved quickly and making it open to everyone. Best wishes for this new project.❤️❤️

@ijebest: You are doing amazingly very great. Keep it up.

@katriel1: Edit I was able to see the subtitles I still don't understand much but I'll be waiting to try it, I'm interested in everything related to movies Interesting pity that it does not have subtitles in Spanish but I would like to know more about the subject

@starkerz: loving the scrobble work here! Discuss on First Context

@afrikens: The fact that you're not rushing to put it out till you're sure it's safe to be used is an evidence that it's gonna be a good tool in the end. I'm not a movie person but I'm an artist so I'm definitely going to be watching this space to get more updates
