Era el año 1983 aproximadamente, tenía 5 años y mi hermana mayor nos llevó a algo parecido a un plan vacacional en un lugar llamado "Humocaro Alto" en el Estado Lara, específicamente el poblado de Buenos Aires. Era una experiencia nueva para mí y estaba totalmente emocionada. Aún recuerdo llegar a esas cabañas de madera, el olor a los pinos y sobre todo el olor a aceite de coco en el cabello de muchas personas. Mi hermana pertenecía a un movimiento ecológico y en esta oportunidad harían actividades para los niños e inculcarles así esa semillita del amor por la madre tierra.

Desde que tengo uso de razón mi hermana mayor @caballodefuego ha sido una gran activista en defensa del equilibrio ecológico, y nos ha tratado de inculcar sobre todo a través de su ejemplo que si se puede vivir tratando de hacer el menor daño posible al planeta. Yo la honro, su pasion por la naturaleza es algo que va más allá de ella misma, debo confesar que trato pero que a veces se me escapan acciones que debería mejorar.

Lo cierto es, que siendo niña ella también nos colocó esta película "Hermano Sol Hermana Luna", es dificil escuchar esta canción y no asociarla a ella, y si, quiero que lea estas palabras para decirle lo mucho que la amo y lo mucho que la admiro por todo el trabajo que ha hecho toda su vida, estoy segura que eso está dando y seguirá dando sus frutos.

Esta película fue muy impactante para mí, creo que allí comenzó esa forma diferente de sentir a Dios, de poder verlo en todas sus criaturas, y toda la producción musical es increíble. Aunque es una película de 1972 creo que vale la pena verla hoy día.

Así pues, hoy les comparto esta canción que siempre que la escucho o la canto me hace sentir conectada a todo lo que forma este hermoso planeta tierra.

It was approximately the year 1983, I was 5 years old and my older sister took us to something similar to a vacation spot called "Humocaro Alto" in the state of Lara, specifically the town of Buenos Aires. It was a new experience for me and I was totally excited. I still remember arriving at those wooden cabins, the smell of pine and above all the smell of coconut oil in the hair of many people. My sister belonged to an ecological movement and on this occasion they would do activities for the children and thus inculcate that little seed of love for Mother Earth.

Since I can remember, my older sister @caballodefuego has been a great activist in defense of the ecological balance, and has tried to inculcate us above all through her example that it is possible to live trying to do the least possible damage to the planet. I honor her, her passion for nature is something that goes beyond herself, I must confess that I try but that sometimes actions escape me that I should improve.

The truth is, that being a child she also put us this movie "Hermano Sol Hermana Luna", it is difficult to listen to this song and not associate it with her, and yes, I want her to read these words to tell her how much I love her and how much I admire her for all the work she has done all her life, I am sure that this is giving and will continue to give its fruits.

This movie was very impactful for me, I think that's where that different way of feeling God started, of being able to see him in all his creatures, and the whole musical production is incredible. Although it is a movie from 1972 I think it is worth watching today.
