Take My Breath Away - Berlín (Cover) by @yisusth [ENG/SPA]

Welcome to my Music Blog. Today I share with you my trumpet interpretation of "Take My Breath Away", a techno-pop song composed by Giorgio Moroder and Tom Whitlock. This piece of music is part of the Top Gun soundtrack, one of my favorite movies from the late 80s. The key of this song is A flat major. The melody of the verse is simple and repetitive, it consists of a descending scale from the tonic (A flat) to the dominant (D flat). It has a syncopated rhythm that gives it a driving and dancing feel. The lyrics are emotionally romantic, and passionate. The structure is simple, with a verse-chorus-verse-chorus-bridge-chorus format. The bridge section has a change in tempo and instrumentation, with the synths taking a backseat to the guitars and drums.

Bienvenidos a mi Blog Musical. Hoy les comparto mi interpretación con la trompeta de «Take My Breath Away», una canción de género tecno pop compuesta por Giorgio Moroder y Tom Whitlock. Esta pieza musical es parte de la banda sonora de Top Gun, una de mis películas favoritas de finales de los años 80. La tonalidad de esta canción es A bemol mayor. La melodía del verso es simple y repetitiva, consta de una escala descendente desde la tónica (A bemol) hasta la dominante (D bemol). Tiene un ritmo sincopado que le da una sensación de conducción y baile. La letra es emocionalmente romántica, y apasionada. La estructura es sencilla, con un formato de verso-estribillo-verso-estribillo-puente-estribillo. La sección del puente tiene un cambio en el tempo y la instrumentación, con los sintetizadores en un segundo plano frente a las guitarras y la batería.

From the movie "Top Gun" we learn that we should never give up on the fulfillment of our dreams. It's an action-packed movie with a lot of heart that shows you how to overcome obstacles, find your true calling and the importance of teamwork. Although dreams idealize the things we want, and are a mirage of our desires. We can work hard to achieve our most worthy wishes. Goals are the reflection of those dreams. When we set goals, this is accompanied by a plan to achieve it. A simple example would be to be able to play or sing a piece of music, so we begin to identify the things we need to be able to interpret it efficiently. We start practicing the passages that are more difficult, we work on the dynamics and we advance one step at a time. So, at the end we evaluate our performance in order to improve.

De la película "Top Gun" aprendemos que nunca debemos rendirnos en el cumplimiento de nuestros sueños. Es una película llena de acción, con mucho corazón que te muestra cómo superar obstáculos, encontrar tu verdadera vocación y la importancia del trabajo en equipo. Aunque los sueños idealizan las cosas que queremos, y son un espejismo de nuestros deseos. Podemos trabajar duro para lograr nuestros más dignos anhelos. Las metas son el reflejo de esos sueños. Cuando nos trazamos metas, este viene acompañado de un plan para lograrlo. Un ejemplo sencillo sería poder tocar o cantar una pieza musical, entonces empezamos a identificar las cosas que necesitamos para lograr interpretarla eficientemente. Empezamos a practicar los pasajes que son más difíciles, trabajamos las dinámicas y avanzamos un paso a la vez. Entonces, al final evaluamos nuestro desempeño con el fin de mejorar.
