Anything Goes - Frank Sinatra (Cover) by @yisusth [ENG/SPA]

Welcome to my Musical Blog, I share with you my interpretation with the trumpet of "Anything Goes", a Jazz genre song composed by Cole Porter. I have had the opportunity to listen to covers by Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga. It was written for a musical in 1934, and is a satirical work filled with witty references to figures and events, such as the Lindbergh baby kidnapping, the Scopes trial, and the rise of Hollywood. It also mocks traditional values and social conventions, such as monogamy and marriage. It certainly reflects the spirit of the 1920s which was characterized by social upheaval and rapid change. It is a reminder that even in the darkest times, there is always hope for a better future. The melody is mostly diatonic, with the exception of some chromatic notes. The melody is also very rhythmic and often syncopated. This piece of music is in the key of B♭ major, with a moderate tempo in 4/4. I interpret it in the key of A Major.

He tenido la oportunidad de escuchar versiones de Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett y Lady Gaga. Fue escrita para un musical en 1934, y es una obra satírica llena de referencias ingeniosas a figuras y eventos, como el secuestro del bebé de Lindbergh, el juicio de Scopes y el ascenso de Hollywood. Believing in yourself is essential to have a full and satisfying life. It is something that can be learned and developed over time. I consider it an attribute that can be cultivated. I like when I take time to reflect and identify my strengths and the things I need to improve. Many times we are harsh judges of ourselves, and then we define ourselves or think that we cannot achieve something. Setting a challenging goal helps us feel capable and motivated. If there is something that has helped me increase my confidence, it is daring to do things. A simple example is when I have to perform a piece of music, then I make the greatest effort possible, and at the end I can see that I have walked on water. Trust is the real miracle.

Creer en uno mismo es esencial para tener una vida plena y satisfactoria. Es algo que se puede aprender y desarrollar con el tiempo. Considero que es un atributo que se puede cultivar. Me gusta cuando me tomo un tiempo para reflexionar y para identificar mis fortalezas y en las cosas que necesito mejorar. Muchas veces somos jueces duros con nosotros mismos, y entonces nos definimos o pensamos que no podemos lograr algo. El fijarse un objetivo desafiante nos ayuda a sentirnos capaces y motivados. Si hay algo que me ha ayudado a incrementar mi confianza es atreverme a hacer las cosas. Un ejemplo sencillo es cuando me toca interpretar una pieza musical, entonces hago el mayor esfuerzo posible, y al finalizar puedo ver que he caminado sobre las aguas.
