    About :

Greetings to all the participants of this great event in the #Vibes community. I feel happy to be able to participate in this weekly contest and share my talent. My name is Jesús Tortolero and I am from Valencia, Venezuela. I have a degree in Music Education and I am about to complete a degree in applied technology focused on Web Programming. I started studying music at age 8, specifically with the piano, but then I fell in love with the trumpet and remained close to it. I also like to sing, but I confess that I am my number one critic and that is why I don't do it that often. From a very young age, I have taught musical language classes, and I have directed choral ensembles. On this occasion, I share with you my trumpet interpretation of "Eleanor Rigby", by one of my favorite bands, The Beatles. I chose this song because it has an incalculable musical, lyrical, and cultural richness. In addition, it presented a challenge to play because it begins with high notes, and has intervals that require precision and clarity. I was practicing it for a week and when I recorded it, you won't believe how many times I had to repeat it. This piece of music does not have a conventional musical accompaniment, it flows quite freely and has an incredible sound. The lyrics of the song are mysterious, but at the same time, it is a song against loneliness, a social criticism against individualism and the lack of empathy.
