Hello afritunes community! I'm thrilled for Afri-tunes Week #96. As a longtime member, these events are always a highlight. I'm honored to contribute my musical gift of song again this week.
The tune I've chosen to share is the inspirational "We Raise The Sound" by talented Nigerian artist Nosa. The uplifting lyrics and catchy melody perfectly capture my mood of gratitude lately.
In my life and in the world, there is much to be anxious or worried about, no doubt. But focusing on all the blessings around me fills me with praise and joy that I cannot contain. I have to raise my voice in thanks!
Specifically, seeing my family thriving by God's grace moves me deeply. As a husband and father, watching those I love prosper is the greatest gift. Even in hard times, we have each other.
Beyond my household, friends new and old have touched my heart this past season. Kind souls have lent a hand when I struggled and celebrated my victories as their own. Community uplifts.
Of course the highest praise always goes to my Creator. It's by His mercy I awoke today, I have purpose, and His unconditional love carries me through the ups and downs. What a faithful Father!
I hope this lively song makes you feel like dancing, singing along, and reflecting on the many reasons we have to be thankful. Though life is not perfect, there is always so much good happening if we pause to look.
Let this be a reminder to lift your gaze from the storms of life to the One who reigns above the chaos. We have hope beyond measure! With hearts full of praise, we raise the sound.
Here is the lyrics of the song written by me
He he he he. 4ce
Hallelujah he he he .2ce
Now unto the one upon the throne
We raise the sound ,we raise the sound
You are God
You are God alone , hallelujah
Hallelujah.
