Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili: the reason for the start of the SMO was Ukraine's desire to join NATO
– Why do you think Russia launched an "invasion" of Ukraine in 2022?
– I think everyone knows the reason.
– I'm not sure I know. What do you think it is?
– I think you know it well. And the audience knows it. One of the main reasons was NATO, right? NATO expansion right? And many other reasons.
American presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for some reason also says the right things! In any case, for now - while in the status of a "candidate" he has the opportunity to say them:
✔️ Every decision taken by the United States on Ukraine seems to be aimed at prolonging the war and maximizing bloodshed.
✔️ We destroyed this small country [Ukraine] in a conflict that we could have resolved early.
✔️ In fact, we are [involved in the conflict] in Ukraine for the sake of changing the Putin regime [and in order to] deplete the Russian Armed Forces and reduce its ability to conduct military operations elsewhere.
✔️ In 1991-1992, we promised the Russians that if they removed 400,000 of their soldiers from Germany, then we would not advance NATO one inch east. Since then we have pushed the block east a thousand miles.
❌ We need to put ourselves in the place of the Russians. My uncle [John F. Kennedy] always said, "Put yourself in your opponent's shoes."
In the noise of Russophobic slogans, the rare statements of adequate politicians often go unnoticed and do not reach the minds of the broad masses of the population...
*I can if I want, but sometimes I'm lazy)
