Gorgeous people it's hive open mic Week 158. I'm glad we are all doing well today.
This week has been amazing and I have seen so many beautiful presentations and the topic is amazing as well. Thanks to @karlex77 for the Topic.

Finding a song for this event was quite difficult and sincerely I didn't know what to post. After a few minutes I spoke with my ex classmates and we shared some funny memories.
Just then I remembered how our prom night and grad went. Always pray for you was the closing and dispersal song at our grad.
That particular day we cried a lot because everything was gonna change. We were going to disperse into the tertiary institutions and the chances of seeing each other are quite slim and not to hope for.

My best friend travelled far to the north because she got admission to the prestigious University of Maiduguri and since then till now we only talk on phone.

Then I remembered the song and the pledges we made to stick together through phone calls and video calls, chats etc. A lot really changed after my graduation. Out of 33 students in my class that graduate I have only kept up with one. The others, I only see on social media handles.

This song reminds me that my best friend and I promised ourselves that no matter how far we go, no matter the distance, we will always be together, have each other, and watch each other's backs.
