    Namaste to all #photography and #nature lovers.πŸ™

Welcome everyone to my first travel blog. This virtual trip will not take much of your time but I am sure you will feel good in it. #FingerCrossed 😊

So the journey I am taking you on today is some glimpses from my trip to Dalhousie, India. It's a hill station situated on 5 high-altitude hills near the Dhauladhar mountain range in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India.

The idea was to go on an unplanned trip but even that required a little planning.πŸ˜…

So we booked train tickets in advance and travelled from New Delhi to Pathankot by Indian Railways. Which took us about eight hours.

After which we boarded a bus from there and reached Dalhousie in about two and a half hours. Neither the booking of this bus was done in advance nor the accommodation there.

The video and pictures shown above were recorded by me during the same bus journey from Pathankot to Dalhousie. Those who know how to enjoy the journey along with the destination will agree that in the mountains specifically, every turn and every corner is filled with beautiful mesmerizing views.

This place is known as Gandhi Chowk, and where I stood and took this picture is a bus stop. 2 roads connected to this Chowk are Mall Roads of Dalhousie and the only market where you can go shopping eating etc.

This is one of those roads where there are just 5 to 6 shops and there is another similar road where there will be some 10-15 shops and that's it, that's the mall road of Dalhousie.
Which I think is a good thing because not being famous, this place is comparatively less populated, more peaceful and closer to nature.

So after reaching Dalhousie, the first thing we did was to have food and then, with our bags slung over our shoulders, we set out on foot in the lap of nature to find our place to stay, and then after some warm-up, we finally found the place of our choice.
You might be thinking that this looks like just an ordinary stay, why did we like it? Well then, let's look at it a little closer. 🌼

We reached this place through a sloped walkway connected to the main road. In the image before the one shown above the big balcony or open terrace-type space you see is just outside my room. I took this picture while standing at the door of my room and the white curtain-like thing you see in front is nothing but clouds.☁️

And this is the open space outside my room with some tables and chairs in between, if anyone wants to sit outside in the open air. Earlier I too had thought that no one come so far to sit here. I mean after some rest I also will go out and enjoy the beauty and the freshness of this place. However, there are no such tourist places in main Dalhousie and to be honest, I was not particularly eager to visit the common tourist places full of people. But anyway, when the weather cleared a little and the clouds moved aside, I saw this...

Don't you think this looks like a pastel colour scenery?

However, due to the cloud cover, the pictures are not that clear but seeing the view of this beautiful uninterrupted mountain valley I decided to sit there for a while and then I didn't even realize when those few moments of sitting there turned into hours.

The next morning, after enjoying breakfast in the same open air right outside my room, I thought of strolling there amidst nature.

And then while strolling on the hilly roads, I felt so relaxed in some untouched places that I felt a new flow of energy in myself. Standing there looking at those smaller peaks, valleys, and homes nestled in the distant mountains made me realize that as far as I have walked through is not bad either.

In cities, people talk about where is peace. And I say, Take some time and live in the mountains like the people who live there. The peace and freshness of these places will soothe you deep inside.

However, the peace, fewer people and a bit of distance from technology may not be to everyone's taste. But one thing that everyone is looking for is peace, satisfaction and happiness from inside and outside. And mountains are standing with open arms to offer all that.

Thank you for visiting my blog and reading it. Generally, I keep writing blogs on financial markets, nature and gardening. But for some time I was thinking why not share my travel stories with you too? Therefore, today the tale of one such travel of mine is in front of you. I hope you liked this memory of my journey.
