Journey with tired feet but happy ❤️

This is the post, I was thinking of writing for a week but the routine didn't allow me. Now it’s 2 am while I am writing it, sleep is miles away from me, electricity is off and I am reminiscing about cherished moments that I intended to share with my hive family.

It is all about sharing with you a wonderful set-off that I had with my mates. This was a class fun tour. As we are about to finish our degree within a few months, we really wanted to create memories that we can cherish later.

So it was a trip to Khanpur dam mainly. We wanted to explore many areas in this tour expanding it to many days but because of having “no consent” call from families of of many classfellows,we constricted it to one day tour. Only purpose was to have explore,have fun ,enjoy moments and creative vivid memories.

4th of November was fixed to set out. All of us were excited and supra thrilled 😁.We departed from university at 1 am . Though it was the time when everyone is deadsleep but we were filled a strange type of energy. The moment journey started,we hang up seats of bus like monkeys. A stentorian speaker was playing role of resuscitation of energy through music and we were just dancing just like foolish in the midnight.

Out first stop was after 3 hours ,where we halted to take tea and get fresh. Our destination was yet 4hours ahead so we promptly revoked our journey.This time everyone was calm as they wanted to spare energy to burn at our main point.We were rushing towards our point hurrily.

Round about 8Am we entered taxilla city. Here we had earlier reserved breakfast tables for our gang. We were soon served with delicious breakfast comprising Paratha,Poori,Halwa,Channay and chai. For me atleast this is one of most craved ones breakfast,especially eating poori with extra spicy channa😂.

Now we were totally fresh to give inception to a wonderful and memorable day. Our destination was 17 km away from us and we covered that distance in 40 minutes.And here are the few glimpses of masterpiece we waited for.

Khanpur dam is actually a place located 50kms away from islamabad and act as water reservoir for twin cities.Dam area is restricted and only officials are permeable to it. Near to it a tourist spot is created ,naming as **Muballi Island ** .This was fun place where person of every age can find its fun. Park and swings for kids and Pararafting ,waterbikes and paragliding for elders. We spent very cheerful and adventurous moments here . Scenery was too captivating . Green mountains ⛰️ containing a small island in a spring.

We spent about 3 hours here and then marched towards our new destination that was University of Julian

This monastery is claimed by archeologist as World’s first most civilised monastery. It was established in 2CE. It marked its glory uptill 450CE and attracted pupils from all the neighbouring states especially china untill it was ravaged by the white huns. In 1916,it was excavated by Sir john marshal and since then it is attracting budhist pilgrims and tourists across the world.

There we met a blithesome guide “Sayed Gul Kalash” who is archeologist herself and a very good presenter too. She debunked to us more mysteries of this prestigious heritage. She elaborated each part of monastery with detils.She was too lighthearted,humble and buoyant.

It was an exquisite sensation and dazzling feel to enter in the devastated rooms where once many of spiritual saints resided. It was truely a magnum opus.

From there we departed for islamabad ,had a lavish dinner and then buckled up to return back.

Going on tour not only gives you opportunity to enjoy and cheer but it helps in learning many new thing and explore new places,relieve stress and interact with people. It was not our first tour but on this tour we too learnt many new things.
Such tour makes you learn skills of cooperation,adapatability and problem solving. At many instances we had a tough time too but with team cooperation,we coped with them.

It was 28 hours continous journey. We were with tired feet but our heart was happy. Each part of our body was aching but we were having chuckles and giggles on our face.
