An impressive bird! - Una ave impresionante! [ENG/ESP]

Recently I was on my way to a friend's house to play chess, which I usually do around 4 pm, when suddenly I saw a bird very close to the sidewalk!

It is true that in the city one often sees birds such as pigeons in the streets, however it was a bird that I had never seen up close, much less near the road.

Hola amigos, les envío un gran saludo a toda la comunidad de Feathered Friends. Yo soy @tomasguitar y les voy a presentar mi primera publicación de muchas que tengo pensado hacer para está comunidad. Siempre me he considerado amante de la naturaleza; todo lo que tiene que ver con ella me resulta fascinante.

Hace poco iba yo de camino a casa de un amigo para jugar ajedrez, cosa que suelo hacer con frecuencia cerca de las 4 pm, cuando de pronto ví muy cerca de la acera un ave!

Es cierto que en la ciudad se ve con frecuencia en las calles aves como palomas por ejemplo, sin embargo se trataba de un ave que yo nunca había visto así de cerca y mucho menos cerca de la carretera.

I showed the video to a friend who was at the house where we were going to play chess and he was delighted because he also likes birds very much, so much so that he asked me to take it to the place where he had seen it and that's how it was, he took it with his hands calmly since the bird did not show signs of fear, later he climbed it up a tree that was nearby and that was when I made a second recording.

It is evident that it is an owl or "owl", I am not an expert in the classification of this type of species and my next step was to document myself to transmit the information to you regarding this species, however, it was difficult for me since From what I could tell, there are too many species of owls and "owls", some very different from this one but many others very similar, so I didn't want to risk asserting that it was a specific one and I chose to let you give me " light" in this regard, who better than you to give answers to my questions?

Lo más sorprendente para mí fue que no imagine que al acercarme a él este no huiría, entonces saque mi teléfono y me dispuse a grabarlo. Le mostré el vídeo a un amigo que estaba en la casa donde íbamos a jugar ajedrez y quedó encantado pues a él también le gustan le mucho las aves, tanto así que me pidió lo llevará al sitio donde lo había visto y así fué, lo tomó con sus manos tranquilamente ya que el ave no mostraba señales de miedo, posteriormente lo subió a un árbol que estaba cerca y entonces fue cuando hice una segunda grabación.

Es evidente que se trata de un búho o "lechuza", no soy experto en la clasificación de este tipo de especies y mi próximo paso fue documentarme para transmitirles la información a ustedes respecto de esta especie, sin embargo, se me hizo difícil ya que por lo que pude notar existen demasiadas especies de búhos y "lechuzas", algunas bien distintas a esta pero otras tantas muy similares así que no quise arriesgarme a aseverar que se trataba de alguna en específico y opté por dejar que fueran ustedes quienes me dieran "luz" al respecto ¿quienes mejores que ustedes para da que respuestas a mis interrogantes?

De verdad espero con ansias saber que tipo de ave es está exactamente y si el comportamiento que tuvo tan dócil es una característica de ellas o simplemente fue una casualidad. Este evento acurrió en la ciudad de Cumaná, Edo. Sucre, Venezuela.
