The year is 1999 and Peugeot was coming back in the World Rally Championship. That's why they sent two of their drivers to compete at opening round of World Rally Championship - Monte Carlo Rallye.
Gilles Panizzi was leading the rally in a private Subaru Impreza WRC until the shunt while Francois Delecour finished 4th overall in a private Ford Escort WRC.
