HIVE OPEN MIC WEEK #183 || PRAY FOR ME BY SOWETO GOSPEL CHOIR || COVER

Hello hive open mic community and everyone seeing this, I hope you all are doing good and also enjoying your weekend. I would say have fun and ease yourself of the stress of the past week if you have the time. Yeah it's hive open mic week #183 with the theme "Goodbye" which as chosen by our recent spotlight artist @glowie.

After some time of thinking about a song to sing that would fit this theme, I came up with "pray for me" by Darey ft. Soweto gospel choir.
This song is about a young man who wants to travel to the city in search for greener pasture, obviously his family is not a well to do family, this made him hunger more for success.

Even though he did know where to go, neither does he have anyone in the city, yet he believed his going to the city will bring him good luck and change his life for good. At this point he plead with his parent to send him forth with their prayers, so the city he's heading to will yield a good fruit and also saying his goodbye because he will definitely be away for a very long time. On getting to the city he found out that life was not easy just as his dad had informed him earlier yet he believed he's going to excel no matter what.

Likewise so many of us are out there for greener pastures, I pray we excel and go back home with good tidings.
