Hola, comunidad, esta semana deseo compartir con ustedes una canción de mi autoría titulada "El Peregrino".
El título viene dado de mi lectura del libro "El Progreso Del Peregrino" de John Bunyan, un libro que les recomiendo leer. Es una alegoría, en el mismo, en forma simbólica y amena se ven reflejadas las etapas y vicisitudes por las que pasa todo cristiano en su esfuerzo por mantenerse fiel a su fe en un mundo cada vez más convulsionado.
En este libro, publicado por John Bunyan en 1678, cada situación de la vida se presenta como un personaje o un lugar. Por ejemplo, hay un momento en que un personaje llamado "Negligencia" lleva al protagonista (llamado Cristiano) al Castillo de las Dudas donde lo lleva al calabozo un gigante llamado Desesperación.

El mensaje principal de esta canción es recordarnos que en esta vida somos apenas peregrinos en lo temporal caminando hacia lo eterno, el tener esto claro nos permite conceder importancia a lo que es importante y reconocer como intrascendente lo que es temporal, fugaz, lo que no incide en lo eterno.

La primera estrofa de la canción describe la vida de quien permite que Dios reine en su corazón y por ello vive en el mundo pero sin ser del mundo.
La segunda estrofa hace una comparación entre la vida antes de recibir a Cristo como salvador y la vida después de conocerle.
La tercera estrofa es una invitación al oyente a un cambio de vida y el estribillo va a estar subrayando la condición de peregrino de quienes vamos temporalmente en este caminar conscientes de que esto es pasajero y lo más importante es hacia donde nos dirigimos.

Espero que sean de su agrado tanto la letra como la melodía y que escuchar este canto represente una bendición para sus vidas.
