Saludos, comunidad. Llegamos a la semana 70 de este maravilloso Festival que nos mantiene activos en la música y nos brinda la oportunidad de interactuar con músicos de todos los géneros, todos los niveles y de todas partes del mundo.

Esta semana traigo para compartir con ustedes una canción que hace varias décadas estuvo muy de moda acá en Venezuela. Se trata de "Elevación" . Canción que grabara la extraordinaria vocalista venezolana -Mayra Martí en 1969 en el álbum del mismo nombre.

Conozco - y ustedes también de seguro conocen - diversas canciones en las cuales el amor de pareja es descrito como un sentimiento que nos acerca al cielo : "...cuando yo sueño contigo el cielo baja hasta mí..." ("Deseos y delirios" de Pedro Fernandez"), "...Permíteme igualarte con el cielo

Sin embargo la canción que he escuchado tratar este tema de manera más profunda es esta, "Elevación", con Mayra Martí. Una letra demasiado hermosa, una vez que se corresponde línea por línea al sentido de su lírica, todo esto unido a la maravillosa voz de Mayra Martí cuyo canto se ha comparado al de los ángeles: las canciones que Mayra ha interpretado con un estilo único y una voz extraordinaria que sólo los ángeles pueden tener..
