Greetings friends from Hive Open Mic, I am pleased to be here in week number 131 with a theme that really tends to take our creativity to the maximum, because one could think of singing a song related to the theme or perhaps more anchored to the title than It would be patriotism, but patriotism goes beyond just a title. It represents a feeling, the pride that is carried inside for the nation or region where you live and were born.

Saludos amigos de Hive Open Mic, me complace poder estar aquí en la semana numero 131 con una temática que de verdad tiende a llevar nuestra creatividad al máximo, pues se podría pensar en cantar alguna canción referente a la temática o quizás mas anclado al titulo que seria patriotismo, pero el patriotismo va mas allá de solo un titulo. Representa un sentimiento, el orgullo que se lleva dentro por la nacion o la region donde vives y naciste.

That is why I decided to sing a song that represents the pride of my country and that I really like a lot, the bagpipes. The bagpipe comes from the land of Zulia and is unique here in Venezuela and I can tell you that the bagpipes are quite beautiful, happy and full of feeling, a lot of love is expressed in it, and although here in Venezuela they are heard nationally in times Christmas, I always love them.

Es por eso que decidí cantar una canción que representara el orgullo de mi patria y que a mi la verdad me gusta mucho, las gaitas. La gaita proviene de la tierra de los zulianos y es única de aquí de Venezuela y les puedo decir que las gaitas son bastante hermosas, alegres y llenas de sentimiento, en ella se expresa mucho amor, y aunque aquí en venezuela se escuchan nacionalmente en épocas de navidad, a mi me encantan siempre.

The song that I bring you next is called "Barquisimetana", I liked it because in addition to being a rhythm typical of our land such as the llaneras, the song talks about the women of my city Barquisimeto, and I take advantage of dedicating it to my beautiful wife barquisimetana, the song is from the group "La Alianza Gaitera" below I will leave you the link of the video so you can listen to it in full, unfortunately I couldn't find the lyrics online so I had to write it since I practiced it.

La canción que les traigo a continuación se llama "Barquisimetana", me gusto porque además de ser un ritmo propio de nuestra tierra como lo es las llaneras, en la canción se habla de las mujeres de mi ciudad Barquisimeto, y aprovecho de dedicársela a mi bella esposa barquisimetana, la canción es de la agrupación "La Alianza Gaitera" debajo les dejare el link del video para que la escuchen completa, la letra lamentablemente no la encontré en linea asi que tuve que escribirla desde que la practique.
