It's week #155 on Hiveopenmic. My name is @rukkie and for this week's theme : DNA chosen by @stickupboys, I will be singing a Christian hymn song titled "Rock Of Ages".

DNA shows a connection or link between people and I believe we are all connected in some ways.

The Bible talks about Christ,who puts us together in one piece, whose very breath and blood flow through us.He is the Head and we are the body.

I chose to sing this hymn because irrespective of language barriers, different beliefs, cultures and traditions,WE ARE ONE. Jesus shed His Blood for us all to atone for our sins and we can honour Him by staying united and loving one another.

The lyrics is given below;

Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in Thee;
Let the water and the blood,
From Thy riven side which flowed,
Be of sin the double cure,
Save me from its guilt and power.

Not the labor of my hands
Can fulfill Thy law’s demands;
Could my zeal no respite know,

Es la semana #155 en Hiveopenmic. Mi nombre es @rukkie y para el tema de esta semana: ADN elegido por @stickupboys, cantaré un himno cristiano titulado "Rock Of Ages".

El ADN muestra una conexión o vínculo entre las personas y creo que todos estamos conectados de alguna manera.

La Biblia habla de Cristo, que nos une en una sola pieza, cuyo aliento y sangre fluyen a través de nosotros. Él es la Cabeza y nosotros somos el cuerpo.

He elegido cantar este himno porque, independientemente de las barreras lingüísticas, las diferentes creencias, culturas y tradiciones, SOMOS UNO. Jesús derramó su sangre por todos nosotros para expiar nuestros pecados y podemos honrarle permaneciendo unidos y amándonos unos a otros.
