One of my favorite workouts is Rope skipping (also known as rope jumping).
Over the past 10 years I developed my own jumping routine and I really enjoy hitting new tricks and combos.
It's not a workout anymore for me. It's more of a dance where I get to hit moves and combos and repeat until I feel fully expent.
You know this, there is no better cardio workout than rope skipping. It basically costs nothing, takes up minimal space and the posibilities of working out with ropes are endless.
From basic skipping to highly advanced moves, the journey has no end. During the pandemic we were all restricted to go out and go to the gym and this forced me revisit my rope skipping skills. Surprise, I fell in love again with rope skipping and found that joy again to just play and try moves again.
