Tras unos días fuera de casa vuelvo con un cover muy especial de la canción "Lo que un día fue no será", conocida también como "El Gorrión", del maestro José María Napoleón, también llamado "El Poeta de la Canación".

Esta obra ha sido interpretada principalmente por José José, quien la llevó a la fama en 1978 como parte del disco "Lo Pasado Pasado".

Otros intérpretes de la canción han sido Cristian Castro y Vicente Fernández en México, Gualberto Ibarreto en Venezuela, Yiyo Sarante en República Dominicana y muchos más.

Esta canción tiene un valor especial para mí, porque era la favorita de mi padre, Igor Arrieche. Él siempre la cantaba allí donde tenía la oportunidad. Mi padre falleció hace casi tres años y es inevitable que lo recuerde cada vez que esta canción suena en la radio o en cualquier lugar.
