¨Hive Music Festival Semana Nº14 - Segunda ronda. "Muero" (Cover)

Retomo este reto nuevamente luego de varias semanas sin participar, por motivos personales se me había hecho dificil grabar, además de sentir que las canciones que quiero compartir por aquí deben ser muy especiales para mi. La única forma de poder entregar algo con calidéz y calidad es que mi alma se conecte con ello y si emocionalmente no estoy dispuesta se me hace muy dificil conectar.

La canción de esta semana es de una artista que admiro mucho, se llama Kany García y es una Puertorriqueña que crea canciones demasiados íntimas y llenas de poesía. "Muero" habla de ese amor que queremos tener siempre cerca, de ese amor que tal vez no hemos logrado tener a nuestro lado, o ese amor soñado. También viendo la letra podría ser una persona a la que se le está llendo alguien que ama mucho por alguna enfermedad y esa despedida duele.

La voz de Kany es magnifica, en este caso el cover lo traté de hacer como una balada súper suave, tratando de acompañar con mi guitarra de una forma muy sutil, ella le da toques muy españoles a algunas partes y esto para mí si es realmente dificil, y pues, siempre me digo, un cover es eso, hacerlo a tu manera sin dejar de respetar la esencia de la canción.

He estado escuchando a otros músicos y sus participaciones y me siento sumamente orgullosa del talento que hay en esta nueva comunidad que va surgiendo, definitivamente un plus a toda la esencia musical de Hive. Cabe destacar que van mis mejores deseos para este gran proyecto que ya se ve lleno de éxito y mis felicitaciones a su creador @edwarstobia .

The only way to deliver something with warmth and quality is that my soul connects with it and if emotionally I am not willing to connect with it, it is very difficult for me to connect.

This week's song is by an artist I admire a lot, her name is Kany Garcia and she is a Puerto Rican who creates songs that are too intimate and full of poetry. "Muero" talks about that love that we always want to have close, that love that maybe we have not been able to have by our side, or that dreamed love. Also looking at the lyrics it could be a person who is losing someone they love very much because of an illness and that farewell hurts.

Kany's voice is magnificent, in this case I tried to make the cover as a super soft ballad, trying to accompany with my guitar in a very subtle way, she gives very Spanish touches to some parts and this for me is really difficult, and well, I always say to myself, a cover is that, do it your way while respecting the essence of the song.

I have been listening to other musicians and their participation and I feel very proud of the talent that is in this new community that is emerging, definitely a plus to the whole musical essence of Hive.
