Para retirar la base metálica hay que remover 7 tornillos, 3 en cada lado y uno en la parte posterior, hay quienes prefieren retirar primero las tinas, luego la transmisión y por último la base metálica, pero yo considero que es mejor es retirar la base con todo el mecanismo de la lavadora, porque así es más fácil separar cada una de las piezas.

Bueno amigos esto es solo el comienzo de este arduo trabajo, porque aun le falta mucho a la lavadora, mañana tengo que abrir la transmisión, para limpiar sus piezas internas y cambiarle el aceite, porque la transmisión de la lavadora es como el motor de un carro donde hay que estar pendiente del nivel del aceite, porque si la transmisión de la lavadora trabaja sin aceite, lo más seguro es que los engranajes internos se dañen y esta pieza si que es costosa, creo que cuesta entre 180 a 200 dolares.
