Voy a mostrarles cómo realizar unas flores navideñas con materiales reciclados que podemos usar para adornar nuestros espacios. Vamos a ver los materiales y el paso a paso.

The materials we will need for each flower are:

Los materiales que vamos a necesitar para cada flor son:

2 Plastic bottles / 2 Botellas plásticas.

Paint / Pintura.

White glue, brush and scissors / Pega blanca, pincel y tijera.

Glitter / Escarcha.

Toothpicks and beads / Palillos y cuentas.

We start by removing the upper part of the 2 bottles with the scissors.

Iniciamos removiendo la parte superior de las 2 botellas con las tijeras.

Then, we remove the bottle tops with the help of a cutter.

Luego, retiramos los picos de las botellas con la ayuda de un cúter.

We are going to make 8 cuts of the same size to the upper part of the bottles.

Vamos a realizar 8 cortes del mismo tamaño a los topes de botella.

We make points to each cut to form the petals of the flowers; we can pass the flame of a lighter along the edges of the petals to make them arch forward a little.

Pasamos a hacer puntas a cada corte para formar los pétales de las flores; podemos pasar la llama de un encendedor por los bordes de los pétalos para lograr que los mismos se arqueen un poco hacia adelante.

Afterwards, we paint our flowers in red or the color of your choice.

Posteriormente, pintamos nuestras flores de color rojo o el color de su preferencia.

For a brighter and more eye-catching result, we put glitter on the flowers by applying white glue.

Para un resultado más brillante y llamativo, colocamos escarcha en las flores aplicando pega blanca.

We take the toothpicks and attach them to the beads to form the pistils of the flowers, and decorate them with red paint and gold glitter.

Tomamos los palillos y los unimos a las cuentas para formar los pistilos de las flores, y los adornamos con pintura roja y escarcha dorada.

Finally, we superimpose the flowers and place the pistils with the help of a foam rubber and silicone.

And this is how our Christmas flowers look like. With them we can decorate any space in an economical but beautiful way. For example, I will use them in a centerpiece that I want to put together for the Christmas Eve dinner.
