Miguel El Bachiller. La semana pasada estuvimos presenciando la graduación de bachiller de mi hijo Miguel Alejandro. Un mes antes, la empresa que tomaría las fotografías ya había hecho le sesión individual y grupal de la referidas fotos. Imágenes firmando el acta, con toga y birrete y todos los graduandos juntos en las escalinatas de la famosa Iglesia de Santa Inés, justamente aquí en Cumaná estado Sucre Venezuela. Ahora, para que Miguel obtuviera su título debía hacerlo en dos actos, uno para la entrega de la medalla de honor y otro día para la entrega del título de bachiller. Padres y madres, sean bienvenidos a los actos protocolares de la promoción X de la Unidad Educativa Nuestra Señora del Carmen. Vamos.

Miguel the Bachelor. Last week we attended my son Miguel Alejandro's high school graduation. A month before, the company that would take the pictures had already made the individual and group session of the aforementioned photos. Al llegar al colegio, lógicamente tomamos fotografias y Miguel saludando a todos sus amigos. Es válido resaltar, que esta graduación tiene su tilde de hermandad, porque estos muchachos estuvieron estudiando juntos desde preescolar, es decir, tienen 13 años de convivir como hermanos. Ahora, como mencioné anteriormente el primer acto fue el religioso, ya que se haría la misa de acción de gracias y luego la imposición de medallas.

De verdad que la emoción que nosotros como padres sentimos es algo indescriptible, escribo esto y se me ponen los bellos de punta. Por ello, cuando iban avanzando los estudiantes y poco a poco llegaba el turno de Miguel, el corazón latía más rápido y pensar que él era uno de los últimos debido al apellido Rojas. Bueno, llegó el momento y Miguel subió al escenario donde con mucho orgullo recibió su medalla y nosotros esperando que terminara el acto para poder besarlo y abrazarlo.

Truly, the emotion that we as parents feel is something indescribable, I write this and my hair stands on end. Therefore, when the students were advancing and little by little it was Miguel's turn, my heart was beating faster and to think that he was one of the last ones because of the last name Rojas. Well, the moment arrived and Miguel went up to the stage where he proudly received his medal and we were waiting for the ceremony to end so we could kiss and hug him.

Las emociones no terminaban, porque al dia siguiente fue la entrega de títulos de bachiller. Si en la entrega de medallas el corazón latía a millón, este día de los títulos, el corazón se me iba a salir. Todo transcurrió como se esperaba, todo ordenado y cada representante haciendo lo que sabía hacer, estar pendiente de sus hijos a la espera de que cada uno subiera al escenario para recibir su título. Al llegar ese momento, nosotros nos emocionamos mucho, haciendo seguimiento desde que sube al escenario, hasta que recibe el título y vuelve a su puesto.
