What KOY Network is and the problems it's solving?

Can you just tell us what KOY Network is? and the problems it's solving? okay let's start with KOY Network KOY Network is a corporate and we are registered in the UK and Wales and we are a permissioned private blockchain it means basically customer data transactions and so on our block explorer will have a permissioned access in other words not everyone can see your transactions alright? they can't they can't tell who you're sending to and so on and that's one of the first thing in that way we are centralized, in that regard the sense that you know we're permissioned and we're private that way that we are more or less centralised is in terms of how we are doing our node validation we have our infrastructure being provided by our very capable team technical team at GoodBlock and we have our own internal systems and our internal infrastructure and so that is like you know an overview of how does KOY Network operate and how is it you know what kind of status is it as a blockchain the next thing about KOY Network is that KOY is a network of businesses and so we have collaboration and partnerships with businesses in various African countries and that's why we are also a network one of the businesses in Kenya is called dotSEND and dotSEND provides certain regulatory frameworks and certifications licensing that they have acquired in Kenya through their own registration and by meeting certain conditions with the Central Bank of Kenya they allow KOY Network to inherit those regulations those licensing and so on we have similar agreements and partnerships with other companies across the continent and that's what makes us a network the last thing I would say is KOY network is a network also of community businesses so businesses that actually building on top of KOY these are the decentralized applications and businesses that are going to be using the KOY infrastructure to basically conduct their online business specifically Fintech and database management areas I'm also a startup entrepreneur and my startup is called Green Trace and Green Trace is going to be one of the decentralized applications that will be operating using the KOY infrastructure and in partnership with dotSEND in Kenya and what Green Trace focuses on we have a coral restoration project in Kenya that we are setting up and then we also do plastic and electronic waste tracking we found a way to just keep track of this waste and this is our approach to climate action and environmental impact so circling back to KOY Jumuiya you know I mentioned earlier how these businesses find community in the Koy Jumuiya DAO and one of the aspects of a DAO of course you have to have governance we also focus on environmental impact social impact you know there's a governance there's a financial technology aspect of it where you are encouraging knowledge you're encouraging growth for the businesses and so on and one of the things that we will talk about today when Warren joins us is the unusual businesses that you will be able to find on KOY Network is focused mainly in providing this infrastructure to African businesses to African community members and so on
