How I became the MC master of ceremonies at my wedding

It's so funny how I became the master of ceremonies at my friend's wedding. So it happens that my friend invited me to his wedding, and I happen to know both the wife and the husband. As time goes on, they want to get married, and an invitation was sent to me. I was so happy he's getting married after waiting for so many years.

From my state to the place where the wedding ceremony will be held, it was like a 4-hour journey. The funniest part was that the road wasn't good at all, so it might take 5 hours because of the journey and the bad road. I was only going to the wedding ceremony as a friend, eat gifts for my friend, and leave the party.
But unfortunately, they had a problem; they already paid half of the money to the MC that will perform at their wedding ceremony. When this MC was coming from his house, there was too much traffic on the way, and this MC did not even know that the road that leads to the wedding was pretty bad. While coming, the MC car got spoiled on its way. By this time, the wedding is still going on, although it's a Muslim wedding, and the MC will do its job later in the day, after which they are done with prayers. They are already waiting for the MC.

The MC wasn't unable to repair his car on time, and he can't leave it on the highway because anything can happen to it. He had to call the mechanic so that mechanic could handle it for him. But at this point, time has already passed, and it's time for the MC to start his job at the wedding.

They needed an alternative immediately because the husband and wife needed to travel too. At this point, I got to the wedding ceremony exactly when they were waiting for the MC to come on board. Just as my friend sees me, he then remembers I know how to talk and gives me the microphone to go and handle the ceremony for him. I have no choice at some point because I don't know what to say because that is my first time doing things like that.

I just have to do it anyway, if you noticed my tiny voice in the video when I'm singing. I felt somehow, as my voice is so tiny. After an hour, I'm about to finish, and the real MC comes around. He doesn't even bother to collect the microphone from me; he just joins me and takes another microphone. Well, we did it like that, and the wedding comes to an end.

I do not ask my friend to rate my performance because I think I did well, but he said I did well. I honestly just used my experience from the wedding I've been attending so far to do the MC program. I'm so glad I'm able to save my friend's wedding.
