Football matches of every class have been held at this stadium. From city leagues to the Champions League. The harsh truth is that it is not the national stadium of Bulgaria, because it is located in the second largest city, not in the capital.
Which therefore leads to its abandonment. At the moment, leading local clubs train and young athletes practice their sports in peace. The name of the stadium is "September 9". Of course, it comes from the Communist Bulgarian past.

The rowing center is located right next to the stadium. The two sites are among the main tourist attractions in the city on the hills. City and international competitions are held on the rowing canal every year. The world's best rowers take part in them. Unlike the stadium, the base is kept in good condition.
