After spending a lot of time home, one develops skills that have been left in the back burner for a while.
The first attempt at making this cake was done with honey instead of sugar. Other ingredients were thrown in together, so the recipe below is just a rough estimate if what went into the monster.
General outcome was a dry and crunchy cake. The honey version was too sweet though. Been eating this for breakfast.
second attempt recipe
1 ½ table spoon scoops of margarine
3 eggs
½ cup sugar
½ cup milk
1 ½ cups all purpose wheat flour
½ cup oats
1 ¾ teaspoons of baking powder
