Morktra Performing Guitar/Synth Doom Metal Instrumental Loop - Crying Moon Of Tartarus

Greetings Hive!!!

Ya know why I like using loopers so much? Because I'm seriously introverted. I can only handle so much social interaction before I become tired. I do miss being in a band and maybe one day, especially if/when I move back down south, I will find some folks to jam with. But... I digress.

I went into the studio yesterday with the intention of creating something lighter and Summer like since I am missing the Summer right now something fierce. But, I forgot a key ingredient... weed. So I was having to look inward towards the shadow and this doomy number came out. I was having tech difficulties with my phone and my looper pedal, so I went and had an edible and headed to the well for water to fill my cistern and was stoned enough to record by the time I returned.

I named this what I did, because it made me think of the sorrow of the Titans, being imprisoned in the lowest part of the underworld, Tartarus. For those uninformed of Tartarus, it is the realm at the lowest part of the cosmos, where the Gods of Greek lore imprisoned their forebears eternally. It became a place equated with a place such as Hell, a place of torment for the souls of the damned. Such a horrid and unfair punishment for the Titans, one of which is said to have given humanity the tools to thrive here, when the Gods just left us to our own devices. His name was Prometheus. It is even said or speculated that the story of Prometheus was where the story of the Garden of Eden and the Serpent came from...
