Olá pessoal! Hoje estou aqui pra dizer qual o sexo do bebê e mostrar a ultra que fizemos ontem. Vocês conseguem ver só pelo vídeo ou vão precisar ler? Eu já sabia mesmo antes, mas vendo a ultra consegui confirmar que eu estava certo mesmo antes de a medica falar. Nessa publicação além de mostrar a ultra vou falar da escolha do nome, montagem da lista do chá de fraldas e etc...

Então vamos ao que interessa...

Menino ou menina

No vídeo acima que é o primeiro nudez do bebê, rs, já da pra ver o sexo e eu já estava conversando a algumas semanas com o bebê como se já soubesse.

Então sem mais mistérios vou dizer a vocês o que é:

Nome

A Tamara já está desde que descobriu querendo escolher nomes de menino e menina, eu disse que só começaria a escolher nome depois que eu conversasse com o bebê na barriga dela e o bebê me contasse qual era o sexo...

De umas 5 ou 6 semanas pra cá venho pensando em nome de menina e falando pra Tamara não se preocupar com nomes de meninos porque só ia precisar se ela quisesse engravidar de novo... rs

Falamos de Eva, mas não quero nomes bíblicos, falamos em beatriz, Laura, Helena entre outros e no final optamos por Lara, mas também gostamos muito de Gabriela!

Então embora ainda dê tempo pra mudar até ela chegar, estamos optando por Lara e esse deve ser o nome do nosso bebê...

Chá de fraldas

Não sei se em outros países existe o costume de fazer o que chamamos de "Chá de fraldas". Isso é algo que fazemos no Brasil sempre que alguém vai ter um filho. Os pais do bebê fazem uma pequena festa onde tem brincadeiras e prendas e os convidados escolhem algum presente de uma lista, geralmente fraldas, itens de higiene ou roupas para o bebê, na lista pode ter todo tipo de coisas que um recém-nascido precisa. O objetivo é ajudar a família nesse momento e todos comemorarem juntos a chegada do bebê.

Começamos a organizar o chá de fraldas para fevereiro, ainda estamos pra fechar a data e iniciamos fazendo a lista, a principio optando por colocar a lista com 1pacote de fraldas + 1 lenço umedecido e optamos por deixar as outras coisas pra comprarmos nós mesmos ou os familiares e amigos mais próximos.

Dividimos o numero de fraldas P, M e G e cada fralda acompanha 1 lenço umedecido. Quando tivermos a arte volto a mostrar por aqui e isso é apenas o começo. O próximo passo é fazer o convite e convidar a todos!

Name

Tamara has been wanting to choose boy and girl names ever since she found out. I told her I'd only start choosing names after I talked to the baby in her tummy and the baby told me what sex it was...

For the last 5 or 6 weeks I've been thinking about girls' names and telling Tamara not to worry about boys' names because she'd only need them if she wanted to get pregnant again... lol

We talked about Eva, but I don't want biblical names, we talked about Beatriz, Laura, Helena among others and in the end we opted for Lara, but we also really like Gabriela!

So although there's still time to change it until she arrives, we're opting for Lara and that should be our baby's name...

Baby shower

I don't know if in other countries there is the custom of having what we call a "diaper party". This is something we do in Brazil whenever someone has a baby. The baby's parents hold a small party where there are games and gifts and the guests choose a gift from a list, usually diapers, hygiene items or clothes for the baby. The list can include all sorts of things that a newborn needs. The aim is to help the family at this time and for everyone to celebrate the baby's arrival together.

We've started organizing the diaper party for February, we're still working out the date and we've started making the list, at first opting to put the list with 1 pack of diapers + 1 wet wipe and opting to leave the other things for us to buy ourselves or close family and friends.

We divided the number of P, M and G diapers and each diaper comes with 1 wet wipe. When we have the artwork, I'll show it here again and that's just the beginning. The next step is to make the invitation and invite everyone!
